I waited a while to leave a review for this place, and it worked both to my advantage and detriment. The good news is I can leave a solid review for the service and the recommended shoe! The bad news is I forget the name of the young guy who helped me find these perfect running shoes :( maybe Chris or Tyler?? Tall, slender, brown hair, super kind! Anyhow... really, THANK YOU is how I should start. A friend from work recommended this place and its a half hour from my home AND from work either way you slice it, so to drive there after work and then home I was committing an hour (plus the time inside the store) to shop here. But again, came HIGHLY recommended! I certainly could have gone into Midtown to another local running store, which I like a lot, but it sounded like I really needed to check this place out. Well call him Chris for the sake of clarity... I explained to Chris that I was about to restart my half marathon training after being off my foot for an injury caused by a couple of issues: a bad pair of shoes, and a high arch without the right support. Also, potentially, poor (self) training. I needed a shoe that could solve all my running problems. I think he fit me in every shoe in the store. Even lent me a clean pair of cushiony running socks with which to try on the shoes. He observed my jog, diagnosed a couple different issues with my stride, and recommended the Newton Kismets, which I did purchase. Now Im a person who has to look at something very expensive, and think about it for 3-6 months before purchasing (which is how I ended up with the car I am pleased to say I am still driving now without much incident). I knew I didnt have that kind of time, so I put a lot of stock in his opinion, experience, observations. I have never been in the market for an athletic shoe over $100, but I knew if I wanted to get back into my training plan with enough time to prepare for my half marathon, I needed to get the plastic out and just get it over with. So I did. And he guaranteed that if the shoe didnt work out for whatever reason, even having run in them for a while, I could bring them back and he would help me find a new pair. Im happy to let the audience know that I am still running strong in my Kismets over a month and a half later. They are definitely the most comfortable, and I havent experienced an ounce of pain related to my injury at all since I started running in these. They support my high arch well, and the way my foot curls upward when I run. It also offers plenty of support to the way I strike the ground with the balls of my feet. I am so grateful for the experts at NewSole and will recommend them to anyone. Worth the drive and certainly worth the money! THANK YOU for getting me back on the pavement and helping me increase my progress toward my goal. Im faster and more confident than Ive ever been in my running. Ill let you all know how my half goes-- 34 days and counting! :)

Let me first start by saying Im not an avid runner, Im more of a walker that might throw a jog in there. So I dont know squat about running shoes. But thats not why I came....You see I have a problem with Plantar Fasciitis...In one foot. Im setting goals for this year in terms of weight loss and its super difficult making that happen with a foot that doesnt want to participate. Through the advice if a friend that also has it, he suggested zero drop shoes....for the past three months I have been wearing them. Ive improved by over 50% in fact some days it doesnt even bother me. Ive been wanting to try some other brands currently I am using TuneFootWear for casual shoes at work and a Merrell Trail Glove for everyday stuff. Forgot to mention I have wider feet too...The trail glove even though zero drop started aggregating me some as its a D width. Sorry for the ramble....Lets cut to the chase here. Visited the store because they have a selection of just about every brand I wanted to try. The staff was amazing, friendly and informative. I left with a nice pair of Xero Hanas....But Ill be back, plan to make this place my go too...And I live an hour away. Keep up the good work NewSole team!

I have purchased 7 pairs of shoes for myself and my son here, as well as sent my sister and friends here to purchase shoes. While everyone who works here is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, Dave is an absolute treasure and resource. My son and I have both taken his free ChiRunning class (its great and youd be crazy not to- its FREE!) and Dave has done additional coaching with my son, which helped him progress in XC. Dave is my go to guy for questions on running and running nutrition (GLUKOSE tablets are awesome!). In this era of big box and internet stores who give you product and nothing more, guys like Dave and stores like these need to be promoted and protected as neighborhood treasures. Even if I can get something cheaper online, I still come and buy here because the care, attention and information Dave has given me out of the goodness of his heart is worth so much more than the few dollars I may save.

This is by far the best sports shoe store I have ever been inside of. The owner is so very knowledgeable not only about his products but also in regards to the way our feet work. I am a mother of three teenage daughters, with completely different activities and footwear needs. Not only did he help them find the perfect shoe and fit for their lifestyle but he also help them find shoes that were fashionably in style and they love! We are repeat customers and will continue to go back for the personal quality service you cant get many places these days!

In the beginning of 2016 I decided to change shoe styles thinking it would not be a problem. My knee and shin pain grew progressively worse during March and April to the point I could only run in the grass. I finally figure it out that my shoes were part of the problem since I was trying several new things in the off season. Dave at New Sole recommended a new shoe and with in two weeks all the knee pain was gone.Within 4 weeks I finished a half marathon without any knee or shin pain for the whole 13.1 miles. Thanks Dave.

Have nothing but good to say about this place. Was fitted for the shoes, and they were great. Me and my wife have excellent pairs now. Great selection. When I had a small problem happen, the issue was resolved in a very timely and efficient manner. They went above and beyond to resolve it! The shoes they fitted me with worked perfectly for 2016s Angel Dash!! Would highly recommend if for all your running needs, and for great friendly customer service!
