I have been in Home Improvement most of my life about 30 years. I have been in the Paradise location a few times. I have always found that the women there are very unfriendly and also very rude when you come by there area like the Tool area I was just in. Also sometimes when you travel home from work it takes an hour for my commute. I get to Paradise and it is only 6PM and they are already closed. The main thing is that they do have a restroom and it is up stairs. Stairs to the only rest room. I remember the first time I asked to use it the guy that worked up stairs gave me a Dirty Look. I came into day and I did have to use the Restroom now they ended up getting busted for non-ADA compliance. The rest room is being installed but, now they wont let anyone use the restroom because of this. Even the young people out there selling cookies/cupcakes had to go across the street. That is the last straw I am done. I shall order all my items online or go to Home Depot. I recommend all do the same there Prices are always high and also the Customer Service Individuals are Rude and also they have got away with out being ADA Compliant for many years and just had to pay a $50,000. So those of you up here that may use a walker/cane/lark have not been able to utilize a public restroom for many years. I vow as we speak I shall never spend my hard earned money to feed the mouths of individuals that dont really care about the people up in the Paradise Area

Ive lived in Paradise for 12+ years. I go into Ace a couple times a month for odds and ends. This past weekend I went in looking for something to repair the roof on my tent trailer. William in paint walked me two a couple aisles around the store to show me my options. Turns out hed done the exact same thing a year ago and was able to show me exactly what he used and tell me how his experience turned out (everything short of basically showing me a video!). By the time he was done I would have paid double for what I end up buying - the service was that good! Ill continue to go to Ace every couple weeks and when I do Ill look for William.

I rarely have the need to go to a hardware store, but when I do I always go here. They have some of the coolest things there that youd never expect. Really good selection of quality Christmas stuff for one example. Some pricey, some cheap. Usually can get a good deal on light bulbs and batteries. I go mainly to have keys made. Customer service there were always pleasant with me. Overall all prices seem either a bit too high or pretty low. Either way, if youre in the area its roughly 20+ miles to the closest Home Depot or Lowes. Id rather spend my money in a local store than pay for gas.

Ive done a lot of shopping at Thomas Ace Hardware since moving to Paradise in 2008. The staff at this store are very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and always willing to help the customer with advice and service. Its also really nice to walk into Thomas Ace Hardware early in the morning and be greeted by fresh coffee, just waiting for you. During my time on this planet Ive shopped at more than 15 Ace hardware stores throughout the northwest. Thomas Ace hardware is one of the best for their selection of quality products and outstanding customer service.

Ace hardware is by far the worst hardware store around. The staff, are extremely rude, most of which are completely unhelpful and dont know what their talking about. Their products are over priced. Ive lived in paradise my whole life. And i would much rather drive all the way to chico to get what i need than to go into ace hardware. I really dont know how their still in business.

Im amazed at the negative reviews. The staff has been overly friendly every time Ive had to deal with them. Yes some goods cost more but a trip to home depot is a 1/2 hour away and then you also pay for fuel. If you shop the ads you can get some good deals. I will say this, their companies website sucks. The actual store is fine though.

Who knew a hardware store could be so practical and so much fun? This is the only hardware store that I insist on going to with my husband. He shops for necessary items and I look at the fun stuff. They usually have the newest and best cures for any DIY project problem. All of the staff know their stuff and they treat us like family.

The staff at Ace are always helpful. If you cant find it there, they will suggest another place to go or special order it for you. You never wander around looking for something. Someone will always assist you. I love that place. The ace rewards helps as well and their prices are good.

I always look here first. The service is great and if I cant find what I need there is always someone in a red shirt close by to help me find it. For a small town like Paradise ca it amazes me to find a store with such a vast inventory and knowlegable staff.

Ace has almost anything you could think of, and the staff are helpful and friendly. I go there for all kinds of household goods, gardening supplies, paint mixed to order, etc, etc.Very attractive store and fun to browse, too.
