On January 2nd I pre-ordered a custom exterior door with a dog door to replace an existing exterior door that is fully functional, the sole purpose of replacing the door was to have a dog door. On January 9th I paid for the door in full. I set up an installation date after the door was delivered to the Home Depot store on Laguna. I missed half a day of work to accommodate installation on Thursday, January 29th. The installers arrived with a door still in packaging that did not have a dog door. I attempted to call home depot and after being placed on hold for 10 minutes was told the manager was out of the store and no supervisor was available. The associate that answered suggested I install the door anyways and they will contact me to fix the error. I declined and sent the installers back with the door. I received a call later that day about the incident and was told we can arrange compensation after the door was installed. I declined, stating I would take my business elsewhere without knowing compensation for their error prior to the installation. We agreed on $250 after much debate, they attributed the error to the manufacturer although the door was delivered to the store clearly visible even while packaged then picked up by the installer. The door was re-ordered rush but then was called the day it was supposed to be delivered to the store and was told they were unable to rush production due to the custom order. Installation was to be 7-9 am on 2/21 and at 8:45 the installers were not present. Called the installers and left a voicemail. Called the home depot store at 8:50 and was told a manager would call me back, the installers are "running late" and have not picked up the door.. It is currently 9:17 and I have not received a return call.

Horrible, I was accused of shoplifting and was greeted by a elk grove police officer inside the store, stopped me in the middle of shopping , told me somebody reported seeing my girlfriend put some merchandise in my bag, I was searched right in the middle of the store by the officer, he found absolutely nothing, I was totally embarrassed, and humiliated right in front of customers! While their loss Prevention team circled me, and then had the nerve to ask me to finish shopping and leave! They are lucky I was too embarassed to stick around and file a complaint! More than likely because I have a lot of tattoos, so they automatically accuse me of shoplifting! Ill never go back to this store ever again!!!

Staff is generally nice here. Getting really tired of being hit up by solar sales people every time I have to run into home depot. I went here to see if they had a certain tool, asked a guy who worked in the garden department and he said he didnt have what I was looking for. I mentioned renting power equipment to help with the job and he referred me to the lodi and power inn store Instead of referring me to a local power equipment store . I always hate when stores do that -Suggest I drive 30 mins to one of their other stores instead of giving me good advice which would be to drive 5 mins to the local place. And now.... I will never be renting a piece of equipment for home Depot.

Im just stunned anyone in that place still had a job. Most of the employees were too busy talking to each other, and standing around, to even notice the gigantic swarm of wasps that congregated by each water source in the outdoor garden center. We went to get some supplies for the garden and walked out with nothing. There was a swarm of wasps flying around everywhere outside attacking customers and wavy employee notified just stood around dumb founded and continued their conversations. Serious lack of customer service and a dangerous situation since I had children with me.

Terrible customer service in the appliance and appliance delivery departments. Youre better off with Lowes for your washer, dryer, dishwasher, range, etc needs. With Lowes, there are no headaches with delivery and setup scheduling. Every time you call Home Depot with regards to delivery and setup, they cannot grasp the basics of customer service --not to mention they sound uninterested with the customers needs after theyve taken your hard earned money.

I had a wonderful experience at Home Depot because of an employee named Muhammad. He helped my husband and I in the wood section. It was our first time creating a shelf in my sons closet and he was so helpful and knowledgeable. He was patient and kind and I really do appreciate him taking the time to help us make the decisions we needed in order to get the job done. Thank you again!

We had terrible costumer service, just plain down right lazy, could careless service. We needed help with the bathroom vanities and tile. Ask one man that was right there on that isle he sent me to the cashier to have them page someone. No one ever showed up. Lots of employees walking around doing nothing. If they would have had what they show on display there wouldnt have been problem

Terrible customer service. I ordered custom shades in September and they cant seem to get the order right. I thought they finally fixed my order a month ago and I still havent heard anything about the delivery and installation. I have called multiple times and left voicemails and I never receive a call back.This store has the worst customer service that I have ever encountered.

Having been a customer here for over a decade & sadly will continue but with a very different mindset & outlook. Remodeling both of our bathrooms, bought 2 brand new toilets (or so we thought) come to find out the 2nd toilet (our master bathroom) WAS USED! How utterly disgusting, shame on you Home Depot for putting that back on your shelf to be resold without inspecting it.

Dude in orange bib :"I dont know, I usually dont work this section " Pro tip- If you are in Home Depot and you need help, dont ask someone in an orange bib.

store actually has improved stocking items that are on display - not always accessible - only on rare occasions have I been able to get help with a question or other customer service * in my experience - clearly lacks leadership - staff seem poorly trained and lack direction - definitely not customer focused overall

Service is horrible! I used self checkout and when I was trying to pay THEN the checker tells me that stall doesnt work. She then rang up my items and double charged me for some items. I ended up leaving without actually buying anything.

So far the last few times weve been here, they dont have either in stock or at all! I LOVE Home Depot and its becoming a HUGE disappointment when I cant find what I want! Oh and forget about trying to find someone to help you!
