I am giving two stars based on my customer service experience at Savemart today. Twice, I overheard representatives say, "I dont know", when asked where something was located. One actually stated to an elderly woman, "I have absolutely no idea", without stopping and facing the guest. I do realise that this is a new staff in a new building, but providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service is key in retaining, especially, the loyal Los Banos locals. Even though the associates didnt know, they could have stopped and assisted the guest in finding the product or find someone else who knew the right answer.

Looks nice customer service is so so. One day the girl was socializing with her friend which made her too busy to show me where the product was that i was looking for she told me to go ask another employee. The prices are extremely high and Im finding that they dont even have what I usually buy. One example was button mushrooms. They stopped carrying it and only had store brand mushrooms in little can. Inventory is not where it should be. The manager told me they stop ordering certain things.

Shopped at the new SaveMart. Bought a "little Italy" 12oz sandwich. Let me tell you something.. I hesitated eating it, because it was beautiful. I took a photo and posted it online. Jayne S. Was the maker of the sandwich, from the label on the tag.(6/13/17) If I could upload the image here to back up my claim I would gladly. Jayne, thank you for the great sandwich. It not only looked great, but tasted great.

Although its the more expensive of all of the markets in town, they do carry a lot of things the others do not - such as more of the organic, gourmet, and Vegetarian food items. They also have a little seafood counter and a nice floral department. Its almost like a little neighborhood market, but with some enhancements.

SaveMart has some really good people working there, but when you walk in the door you are overwhelmed by the odor of frying oil. It is sickening. They need better exhaust fan in the cooking/deli area. Hopefully this will be corrected in their new building.

Friendly experience, easily accessible, produce and items in general are slightly overpriced. I wouldnt call it Save Mart, but Id call it spend Mart. Its a good stop to grab quick items but otherwise I would shop elsewhere

A nice market, but quite expensive compared to other markets like Walmart, sometimes exaggeratedly so. You pay for the smaller size and getting through the market more quickly. Very good service as well.
