I live in Placerville and Im tired of my grocery options there so I like to drive a few extra minutes down the freeway to Fork Lift! Its a gorgeous newly renovated, former Food 4 Less store and its so much fun to shop there. They have a nice selection of fresh organic fruits/veggies, beautiful deli, cheese bar, salad bar, meat section (although Im a veggie) and they offer products no other grocer offers in the area! What I like is the large variety of products, especially international and unusual products. Their bath & beauty products offer lots of hard to find brands and its a great place to shop for little gifts. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful! Its rarely ever crowded so its actually a pleasure to shop and not a chore. They have a new outside covered eating area, so you can get something from the fabulous salad bar and now sit outside and eat it! Highly recommend this new store in our area! Oh, forgot to mention the prices, WAY LOWER than other retailers in the area!

i have been a shopper of this supermarket since 2006 (former food 4 less) and know some staff who are now working at nugget in el dorado hills...i love shopping here because i found all the merchandise or stuff that need, and yet they are affordable, and if ever they dont have yet what u need, u may talk to the staff and they will get and provide it for u next time u shop.like 2 weeks ago, i asked one of the guys at meat section if when will they have that particular stuff i want, he got my name and phone number and he assured me of having it in a couple of days and he had it which made me so happy.not only that, now that they have added more shelves with ready-to-pick-and go stuff and the salad bar that make customers happy. one of the good things about this grocery, the staff are so accommodating and friendly.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS. u may try this grocery and i will assure you will love to come and shop again and again.

I dont like to shop anywhere else. The employees are friendly and always ask if Im finding everything. There is a lot of organic food and the meat, Im told, is not feed lot fed and not from some other country. There is also a nice organic produce section and a case full of boxed organic veggies. I cant forget the imported cheese section. Also, the store isnt so big like some of the others so I dont get tired by the time I reach the check stand. Still, the store has everything a person could need plus a bunch more. I forgot the deli. Theres a lot of prepared food and deli meats and cheeses so you can grab a healthy lunch or dinner. There are bakery breads. You can fill your one or five gallon water jugs back in the corner by the eggs. I love this store.

Just went in to buy milk. Walked by the beautiful deserts but resisted. Noticed fresh swordfish on sale. It looked beautiful! Asked for a specific piece. The clerk came out from behind and showed me how they could flip open the glass towards me and more easily see exactly which cuts I preferred! AWESOME!!! Ive never seen that before. It was the best swordfish weve ever had! Very impressed, as we can rarely find our favorite fish around here. As Arnold said, "Well be back! " Also, the clerk was exceptionally polite.

Good morning... I just love it!!! The store is beautiful... many new products... staff is friendly and most helpful. Produce and meats are great and in general I really enjoy shopping here. My only complaint would be that when I come in around 1:30-2:00 in the afternoon there are no bagels... ... yesterday was the first day I was able to buy 1 everything bagel... Other than that it really is a great addition to Cameron Park. One happy customer. :)

I loved shopping here when I stayed up that way. The employees are the friendliest people you will come across. We shopped there so much we started knowing employees by name which comes in handy when you want some sweets from the bakery after the bakery is closed. The store is always clean and they seem to have whatever you need in stock.

This is my favorite grocery store! They have everything I use and need from great produce and meats to health foods and supplaments. Plus the great selection of wine, craft beers and spirits, you will not be disappointed! Couple the selection with resonable pricing and great staff and you have it, my favorite grocery store.

Always a pleasure to shop here. Great customer service, great prices, amazing and knowledgeable meat and deli department. Everyone is helpful. Was worried when Fork Lift bought it from Food4Less, but theyve only enhanced the experience with quality and the prices are still great. Also great craft beer selection.

My wife and I are big fans of Forklift market! They have a good deli, with a better sandwich counter than the big Nugget markets! Plus, the people there are always happy to help you find what youre looking for. Its a "discount" store that actually helps you bag your groceries!

Love this place for the choice factor. Great produce, butcher shop, liquor department. Want pickles? Lots of choices? Polenta? Ditto. This place has tons and tons of brands. The cashier staff could be a bit friendlier, but the rest of the store personnel are great.

It is like the Nugget but with a little less selection than the main store. Still they have amazing produce and proteins. If you are on top of the hill this is a great place to shop. Be warned it can get expensive fast, but only because it is all so good.

This is a Nugget Market on steroids. All of the exclusive, fresh, and diverse products of a Nugget but somehow at a lower price. The quality of the service cannot be overstated. These people want you to leave happy. I wish we had one in Sacramento.

This grocery store has the feeling of wealth, which tends to drive a lot of customers away, but this feeling does not hold true to the prices. Forklift offers the selection and quality one expects from a "wealthy" store, but at middle to low prices.

Head straight for the bins with the freshly made granola and all the other snackz. Then grab the free samples near the deli and Then do your grocery shopping. Make a second pass on the free samples as you are grocery shopping. Youre welcome.

Bagged my canned goods with my meat. Somehow the meat got a hole in it an blood spilled and my bag broke and everything in the bag went everywhere in the parking lot. Dont overfill my bags ( that I now have to pay for btw) so they break.

Cant beat the prices and I find specialty items that cant be found at any of the large supermarket chains. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the checkers! They dont just say, " have a nice day ", they mean it!
