Well I thought the cameron park safeway needed some help since you pay for courtesy clerks and you have to bag your food yourself. Fork lift has been filling the void from all of us that have been fed up with Safeway service. Fork lift has been doing a great job. I guess once we figure out where everything is at, we wont need Safeway. Having Safeway here in Cameron Park I think would be a good thing, than rather have an empty building. So I sent my 17 year old son down to Safeway who is eager to work. Once he got through the hiring process that took four days of missed appointments. (TOO BUSY TO INTERVIEW ) Finally was hired. Know comes the computer process. Hiring manager cant figure out the computer software issue and doesnt know what to do. Calling HR is the next step, but is to difficult for her. She sends our son away with a message of I cant figure this out so youll have to get a job some where else. I hate to see our support of Safeway come to an end, but I hope they can hire someone with out computer issues.

Went there on a Thursday night. When you first walk through the door there is a table with a foam ice chest. There is a printed note saying have a water on us. Both ice chests were empty. I only went to get soda and waters. They were all out of diet refresh. Which is my favorite. The water section was completely empty. They had arrowhead but not a fan and not willing to purchase. So I decided to just get Gatorade. Then I went looking for one more thing. Couldnt find it. I looked at my daughter and said lets just go to fork lift. 2 other customers heard that and agreed. When we ran in to each other at fork lift we just laughed.

Came in last night with a $100 bill. The bill was completely real but I understand Safeways desire to check the bills authenticity however, after the woman assured me should would accept it she stepped away to speak with a manager. While talking to the manager they kept eyeing me, and she came back and said "I couldnt find a pen so I cant accept this." Seems to me like they werent even looking for a pen but were instead assuming the bill wasnt real based on my appearance. Talk about prejudice and profiling. I will never shop here again nor do I recommend that anyone shop here.

Seriously? I need them to 24 hours! I cant tell you how many times I have needed to go to the store after 2 am and get something because I woke up in the middle of the night because either my boyfriend was so drunk he pissed in the floor, his daughter woke up throwing up all over her room, or because the cat pissed in our bed. I need things to clean up the messes and I dont have it in my house to get rid of the odor and since they now CLOSE I am not able to get anything when I NEED it!! Really frustrating!!!

First time Ive been to a Safeway in a really long time now I remember why I quit going there its freaking expensive man the line was ridiculous long one cashier open everybody had baskets that were full to the top three people in front of me so we went to self check I mean the store is nice and all but I wont be back at Safeway for a while emergency only

Very convenient. Most staff is really nice,the ladies especially, they remember you. One man makes me nervous though so I avoid his line when I can. He made it awkward when checking my ID for alcohol once by reading out and asking questions about my address... other than that the store is great, pharmacy staff are efficient and friendly as well.

Just ok, Ill go here when Im in a pinch. The prepared fruit trays should be avoided. The fruit seem to be at their turning point, very disappointing. The staff are disgruntled and will take it out on the customers if they are under the age of 65. Mind your Ps & Qs in here!

Between constantly having to see thieves getting away with the stores goods due to no security and a no chase policy. To waiting in line yesterday for 20 minutes at the checkout, I have decided to completely stop shopping here. They just Dont seem to care one bit......

Your Typical grocery store. Bonus, it has a Starbucks inside. Good deli sandwichs. Bakery has yummy jalapeno rolls. They make this cinnamon roll cluster, that you must stay away from. Especially if your watching those calories. Its soo good!!!!

It is safeway so there are some good deals to be had. Not as complete of an organic sections as many other stores in the area. But there prices cant be beat often if you have the app.
