This past sunday we had purchased two coconuts apart from a few other items. When we came home and broke open it, we found it to be spoiled. This has happened a couple of times with any US based stores and other Indian stores and every time, when we take the coconut back, without a blink of the eye, we either get a refund or they replace it. Expecting the same, I walk into the store, the guy at the counter does not have any directions on what to do and he calls his boss, the owner with two red lines on his forehead. The owner pretty much started the discussion with an anger tone stating he cant do anything with it and wont agree to a replacement or a refund. If he had started a reasonable conversation, it would have ended well. He said I dont have to buy coconut from his shop anymore and I replied, I dont have to buy anything from his shop anymore. This was the first time I have been to this shop to try it out. Given that there are couple of good options in Lotte and Patel nearby, I really dont see a need going back and I suggest other customers do the same to teach this guy the value of "customers". Oh and eventually, I got my refund. So, yayy! Its just 3 dollars and it doesnt really make any difference in his or my life but what matters is a good customer service!

I have been to this store couple times. I observed one thing very clearly that these guys will charge you definitely $.25 to $1.00 extra on your bill. I observed 4 times ( ex : 3 limes $1 but i took 2 limes they charged me $1. 2nd time Coffee powder bottle says $3.99 and the guy charged me $4.99) one time i asked him why is it charged more in my bill ? - he is trying to defend himself rather saying sorry. its not about single dollar or what ever. Its all about cheating the customer. if you want more money - you can sell the product with increased price but not cheating like this.

Two different occasions, the cashier charged higher prices for multiple items in the bill (they key-in the prices into the register). Both times it was the tall younger cashier. The second time I got annoyed and asked to talk to the manager, but the manager simply walked away as I was explaining! Unfortunately, honesty does not seem to be one of their strong suits. Please pay attention and double check the charges before you leave this store, or better yet, avoid this store. Should we not expect basic integrity and honesty from these stores?

I went and purchased 40$ worth of groceries there and I forgot to take buiscuits. I went in again and took biscuits of 8.4$ and was paying him by debit. The person replied to me they dont accept cash blow 10$. I had cash in my pocket, but I said I just purchased 40$ worth of groceries from you , its just unfair. He says If you want to purchase go to an ATM else its fine. I went to the other Indian Store and got my stuff.

The people working in the store will immediately make you feel home. They have a huge stock of items and unlike Patel Brothers, does not add 50 cents or a dollar to a item, if the item sells well. Patel Brothers used to be my main Grocery shopping store - Now I havent been there since last 3-4 months. The price is extremely competative and in many cases less that Patel Brothers.

The store has a decent stock of groceries and has mostly everything I expect from an Indian Grocer. The real difference is that the store employees and owners are extremely friendly and they are very helpful people. They will make sure you have the best experience possible.

Basically I was in the store as the man randomly told me to leave. He yelled at me and told me its not some type of "playhouse" I then told him I was buying the stuff but he still told me to leave. Im black by the way I find discriminatory

I am so pleased that they have moved to a new, larger, better stocked store. Unfortunately for my waistline, they had the homemade samosas available the day I was in. At 85 cents a piece, I had no resistance. They were delicious.

Bright, clean and well stocked with Indian groceries. Friendly, courteous service from owner and staff. Easy parking. Front doors are manually opened and difficult for handicapped and elderly to operate. Reasonable prices. Try it!

Great Indian food options. Loved the special Diwali sweets. There are food packs, masala packs and ready made food. So its great for people of any level of cooking skills. I really loved the dosa batter.

Decent Stock and nice people. They will help you find things without getting impatient. Though improving instore signage will help.
