Have been this market for more than 30 times. Satisfied: 1.Pretty good after-sale service. Theres once I forgot bringing some checked-out goods at self-checkout bar, and I easily went back to fetch the thing I miss with no more cost. 2.Their private brand usually offers much lower price with not bad quality, especially milk, chicken and paper towel from my shopping list. Unsatisfied: 1. Whether the food - especially fruit and vegetables - is fresh or not is highly uncertain. Blueberries are usually too soft (Going bad) or too hard and sour (Not ripe). I love blueberries but its hard to get fresh and delicious blueberries here. Another thing is garlic. I doubt how long did the garlic stayed in the blanket in the market, because sometimes I get fresh ones, sometimes it gives a smell of achohol after cooking, which indicates they are going bad. 2. Cheap goods usually come with an incredible must-buy amount. They usually have deals like #buy 12 cans/pack x 4 pack and get a very nice deal#, but its too difficult to move these cans out of the market. Too much, too heavy. Why cant they think more for customers?

This visit, as most others, was extremely frustrating. When I was ready to check out, only one checkout lane was open and the line was 5 people deep. I proceeded to the self-checkout line, which went halfway down the cereal aisle, and waited while the 8 self-checkout machines struggled through the unrelenting sales. Naturally, its almost impossible to complete the checkout without something mysteriously going wrong, requiring the assistance of the lone employee responsible for the 8 machines. The fact that the management constantly witnesses this situation and does nothing to rectify it is deplorable!!! Horrible, disrespectful, and ungrateful customer service!!! NEVER going back!!!

This is the best non-gourmet grocery store in the city, hands down. Fresh food, fair prices, huge selection, great prepared food, and an awesome and knowledgeable staff. I still go here even though I dont live in Hampden anymore and there are 4 closer stores to me. I recommend it to all my friends who shop at the AWFUL Giant on 33rd street, or the mediocre Safeway with stoned employees on 25th. The thing that impresses me most is that some of the same people who worked there 5 years ago when I moved here are still there, and seem happy.

The seafood dept never has anyone behind the counter and the shrimp must be soaked in clorox. Smells like it. Ugh! Management is the worst yet. Management turns over very quickly and every time they get a good manager, hes gone soon. Checkers that have been there for years are retiring because of the management now. Peapod pick-up is a joke! Theres never anyone outside at the pick-up place to help. If you dont have a cell phone to call the store, youre out of luck.

Went there trying to return about 13 dollars worth of groceries because I was on empty and this woman turned me away. I had a receipt and everything in a giant bag. She was rude, uncaring, and will be reported. I dont know her name but will find out. She threw the receipt in my bag like I was trash and spoke to me with disrespect. She should be fired!!!!!

The prices seem high. The produce is lackluster and expensive. Signage is confusing (for example, two similar products next to each othe might have one with $1.49 while the other reads 3 for $5.00). No matter how crowded the store gets, they rarely have more than two cashiers. The self-checkout frequently line goes halfway to the back of the store.

Big plus for a large regular grocery store in the city, but it isnt always stocked enough. I have often had issues with many common items being out of stock. Also, this store is often really crowded, with not enough checkouts or self checkouts. But again one of the best regular grocery stores in the area.

This store is 50 years old and it shows. Now that Super Fresh closed it is the only choice in the neighborhood. Fresh and Green is a joke. I have taken to driving to Timonium to shop the new ShopRite. This is hardly convient but the store is clean and beautiful and has everything I need.

This Giant is far too understaffed for as busy as it is. Im sick of waiting forever for help with anything and am going to switch to Superfresh unless they hire someone. The staff told me they have cut hours so I dont expect any changes....too bad, I used to love that store.

Its 24 hr. store and thats convenient for me as I return from work late. The store is not very diverse in product range but it does provide almost all the necessary items. Also good thing is there are Bluejay shuttle service available for transportation purpose.

The grocery store itself is solid for all purpose grocery needs. Be aware, though, that there is rarely a predictable slow time unless you go during the very late or very early hours (it is a 24hr Giant). Also, there is no pharmacy

I come here all of the time. I like it. The lines move quckly. The only issue I have here is with the self-checkout. It doesnt always register when I place an item in the bag, and then I have to wait for assistance.

I prefer the Hampden Giant over the Waverly Giant because I honestly think some items are priced lower. Pretty organized and fresh produce. I highly suggest going during non-peak hours to avoid long checkout hours

Typically busy, but the lines arent heinous. The parking lot can be a bit dodgy and the selection is a bit small. Still a better option than Safeway, but if you have the time, go to the one in Hampden.

Very convenient and 24 hours. Fresh produce for the most part. Good prices and friendly staff. I shop there all the time but I usually go late at night to avoid the nightmare that is the parking lot.

This is one of two grocery chains in the area. Convenient and usually quick check out. If they dont have an item just stop by customer service and typically they will order. Friendly staff.

I love this store. Great selection, great prices. They have changed and improved products & selection I feel like as I have been shopping here for years. Must be a good management team.

This giant is a place of extremes. There is no middle ground. The employees are either really spectacular or really miserable. The pre-made food is either on point or inedible.

Generally solid on food offerings and choices, cleaner than some other giants in the area. Good produce and cheese selection. A little cramped and registers are often full.

This supermarket is mostly average. Missing the high end fare of some ritzier stores but not grubby like some rough ones. Mainly its a good option in this neighborhood.

Super convenient place to shop for groceries because theyre open 24 hours, but things are a bit messy if you go late at night since theyre restocking the shelves.

Often low on quality produce. Very little organic produce selection. Store is relativity clean and has most of what you need, but produce selection is terrible.

I dont like their sales. Often you have to buy large amounts of soda to get the sale price. No good if you have to walk to the store and carry it home.

Short trip to pick up Bryers vanilla no added sugar ice cream. That store is always clean and well stocked, pretty uneventful.A good experience.
