On my way home from work, I had to stop at the Western Union. I got to the Giant in Bowie at 7:50pm and waited in line. I got to the employee at 7:54pm, only to be told they close at 8pm. So I said I have six more minutes left. The lady then stated the paper work takes a while to print and it has already started printing. Like really! Guess I will go to the one near my job in the future.

This is the largest and most well stocked Giant Ive ever shopped. I was especially impressed with the health food, magazine, coffee, and dairy sections. They had things I had been looking for and couldnt find. They were all here! The music is great too in that I had never heard 80% of the songs and I liked them all! if Im ever in the area again, this is where Ill buy groceries.

This is a huge Giant and I used to refer to it as the "uptown" Giant because it was always so clean and had a lot of items I couldnt find at the Safeway in Fairwood. Its a nice store with good prices but I think Harris Teeter is going to give it a run for its money.

As usual, empty/understocked shelves, old and rotting produce, and overpriced deli and meat products. Also notice prices in the "organic" section are steadily rising. Visit this store less and less, as there are other options in the area.
