Im a collector of vintage Transformers, MOTU, MASK, GI Joe, Voltron, Visionaries, SilverHawks, and on, and on .In years past, Jayden ran the store and the prices were very fair. I got a price that + or - a few bucks, I totally expected to pay. Cant say the same for the new guy running the store. Educate yourself bit more on Transformers and Voltron prices, and Ill be happy to give a 5 star; e.g. $75 is not a good price for a beat up, poor condition 6" die cast Lion Force Voltron, regardless of "how old it is". That figure goes for $20-$30 in great condition. I was also asked to pay $250 for a lose Titans Return Fort Max that, at the time, was retailing NIB for $100. Those are just a few examples. Still, regardless, I always come out ahead on the deals I get there in the long run . Just a bit of work on knowledge level is needed to get a solid 5 star...at least from me. - Quick edit to my original review. The best part of DFW Vintage is the variety. I love all of the big 3 local shops, but DFW beats everyone on variety and obscurity. They, in my experience, beat other local shops by years on carrying currently popular vintage lines...Takara G1 Transformers (like Masterforce & Victory), Panosh Place Voltron, and 3rd Party Transformers. So, huge kudos there.

The absolute worst place to go if you are a serious collector. Any, and I do mean any, kind of price they offer when you are selling is ridiculously low and they sell everything for an arm and a leg. Every time I have ever gone has been nothing but a waste of gas, time, money, and effort. These people do not know what they are doing. There was a point where I saw something I liked, went to pay for it, and they told me its supposed to be more and raised the price on the spot. There isnt a moment where the guy behind the register isnt on the phone and seems to get annoyed when I have a question. I will never be going back again. 1 star is way too much for this place. Trash! Want to get your moneys worth? Go to this place, 12052 Forestgate Dr, Dallas, TX 75243, where they know what they are doing. These guys know about the characters, their Comic book history and the value of an item. Save yourself some time and effort. Great service and cool people.

**LONG POST** My husband and I first came to this store back in December 2014. Our 4 year old son was (and still is) obsessed with Jurassic Park. My husband came across DFW Vintage Toys and gave them a call about a Jurassic Park Compound. He told them the love our boy had for JP and how bad hes been wanting one. We really wanted to find one for Christmas. He was told they didnt have one in store but maybe in their storage unit. My husband got a call back 2 days later and sure enough he found it. He explained to us that it wasnt in the best condition but was perfect for a kid to play with. He gave us an awesome deal and we had it in our hands the next day. Our son plays with it to this day. Since then, we have gotten many toys for our son. He loves going in and looking at everything. The guys there know him and love seeing his excitement when he gets a new toy. Thank you DFW Vintage Toys for being so awesome!!!

Last few times Ive been up there to sell or trade figures, I always get some sob story about how the specific toys dont sell and I get a very low ball offer. I went up there today and was told that they couldnt give me cash for anything I brought in, but offered $60 in trade. I saw a figure I wanted behind the counter that they were selling for $40, but since it was a "popular" figure, the clerk wouldnt trade it to me telling me "they have to give it a chance to sell". So not only do you give me a low ball store credit offer, but I can only apply it to certain items? What kind of business and customer service is that? Puts a real bad taste in my mouth. The owner Jayden is a cool guy, but Im done wasting my time with his store and wont be going back. This latest experience was the last straw. Ever since hes taken a more hand off approach with the store, my experiences there have gotten worse.

This is the worst place ever. The owner took in my vintage Visionaries, Silverhawks, Thundercats, Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Kenner Aliens Predator and Terminator figures and gave me 1 Marvel legend Mecha Hulk and 1 Neca Ahab predator. This guy is the scum of the earth. My wife and I are so glad we found a different store in Dallas that doesnt screw over the customer. NEVER BUY ANYTHING HERE.

This store is all kinds of awesome! I havent seen so much vintage Star Wars, GI Joe, Transformers, and Masters of the Universe stuff in one place since I was a kid in the 80s. There are rooms full of DC and Marvel goodness, WWE figures, and 70s Mego figures like The Dukes of Hazzard. There were also Kenner Indiana Jones toys and Galoob A-Team figures!! What a great store!
