On the fourth of July they ran out of a sausage they were sampling and the meat market manager wrote off a package of similar sausage to let me try for free. The sausage was delicious, and I will definitely buy it again! (PS: it was chicken sausage, not pre-cooked, with yummy stuffings - I wanted the feta, but they gave me poblano and another type of cheese to try since they were out.) It was especially nice since I was spending Fourth alone while puppy sitting. (I mean, pups are often better company than people, but it was a really delightful dinner-for-one.) Other than that, every HEB partner in this store has always been super helpful and nice. I used to work for HEB (a different one in town), so I know from experience that entitled customers in this area can wear you down. These guys are always smiling and having fun with each other and the customers, and it makes for a really chill shopping experience.

Excellent store,meat market cuts anything u want it.would like to see lower prices on the meats,its high for some reason. But for convince, its OK.ILOVE the veggies are always freash.also they do clearances items .thats so helpful when your liw on money.Im a single mom&all food thats freash&clearance its a great GE help.also you ask for help&they jump on it.just need more cashiers .waited in a line 20 mns.the next cashier opens ,but she took someone whos not been waiting.I think u should always ask the next person in line.thank you heb.yall should also do door prizes or raffles tickets for beef Dept.Im sure that would bring in Alot of customers & cash.excellent mangers .bill was to funny.over all 100 FORSURE.

Do not buy the HEB Netspend card! I purchased one for a gift card, you have to activate it and call them and give them your Address, S.S. #, Email, just to activate a card to give as a gift. They will not REFUND you 10 min later, even if you dont activate it. they charge you 3.95 plus tax when you buy the card, and 1.00 every time you use it and 2.00 if you use it as a debit card! This is Robbery! You Charge me all these fees to use my own money that I loaded on the card when purchased. I cant believe HEB puts their name on this! In the future I will just give Cash as a gift

This place used to be my favorite location but its not anymore. This HEB really irked me when they removed all the beautiful trees just to get rid of the birds. By doing that, theyve made it where theres less shade during the summer time. Even the Costco I love so much keeps beautiful large trees up and down the parking lot. I would rather deal with the birds than suffer returning to a seriously hot car. If you think people dont care about shade, watch where people park when its hot.

I love HEB. But I absolutely hate this one. They are always out of something I need (basic things like powdered sugar) and I always end up bagging my own groceries. The employees talk to each other more than they talk to the customers, and mostly about inappropriate things. Ive tried coming here multiple times and it always ends up the same. The only good thing about this store is the wine selection.

This place is disgusting. Theres trash all over the parking lot, merchandise all over the floors, and the restroom is a mess. Tonight some half-witted stain was picking his nose while bagging my groceries. Why should I have to sanitize my groceries when I get home because this place doesnt implement proper training and discipline for employees? Avoid this store and choose starvation instead.

I like HEB but I sometimes I really hate the staff and the customers at this particular location. Also, I really hate they are doing the order online service at this store. There isnt room for it. At peak times, the parking lot isnt big enough and now a lot of spaces are taken up by the parking spaces for the curbside service.

Very customer-friendly place and they treat their employees well. Things are usually stocked and their combo Loco things are awesome you have to look for them on the shelves. I do 100% of my shopping for groceries at HEB. On the downside theyre usually very packed and the customers tend to not be very friendly.

The only thing I dont like about this HEB is when its crowded and the other shoppers are rude. They have a good selection of items you can find just anywhere. The produce is wonderful. Its also the only place where I can buy Mrs. Meyers laundry detergent. The prices are good. The selection is good.

I wouldnt buy produce or meat anywhere else- HEB quality on those products is exemplary. HEB brand products are on par with, and sometimes better, than national name brands. If I ever moved away from Texas, doubtful as that would be, I would miss HEB more than anything else!

one of the best heb grocery stores in waco its a plus store which is good for me very roomy a nice selection of grocery items they also have music cds you can purchase and flat screen television a fabulous place for waco residents.

A fantastic grocery store with a fairly comprehensive inventory and very reasonable prices. HEB is a great place for your one-stop shopping. This location has recently had a renovation and is clean, well-stocked, and organized.

Poorly managed. Items always out of stock. It would seem u sell out if items. Someone would restock shelves for others. Checkers always refuse heb in store coupons. By far the worst heb in texas. No security in parking lots.

Friendly except the guy from the dairy who was putting up gallon fruit drinks.They are trying very hard to keep the ladies bathroom fresh.Need to place toilet liners in boxes in the stalls.Very pleased with this store!

I love how this HEB has such a variety of different types of specific foods,, meals, & drinks. Especially people like myself with a variety of medical issues that requires me to find foods& drinks that meet my needs.

Not the largest HEB store, but well stocked and usually busy. The "will call" grocery service is coming, but not yet operational... Not sure what is taking so long as everything has been in place for months

Never go after 10am if you have stuff to do. What should be a 5 minute trips last 1 hour cause of the slow worker and mass amount of people. Texas needs other options for stores, cause this place blows

It has the cheapest water in town, so we always go there to fill up out 5 gallon water bottle for home. Also, like any other HEB, it has a hardworking staff that can check your items out very quickly.

This HEB has a moderate amount of stuff in it but isnt as large as the one in Hewitt. The deli is a great place to get sandwich meat because its more fresh and cheaper than buying packaged.

HEB at Wooded Acres, has a well stocked, fresh produce department!They carry a great variety and always have higher quality meat & fish. HEB has excellent sales and In-store coupons.
