Stopped here on a Sunday morning to pick up a few bits and pieces for a picnic en route driving back to the Twin Cities. Not much selection and a very, very small produce section. We bought -A box of strawberries, and once we got it open we found there were only two without mold. -A 7-layer Salad from the deli. Okay. -A Mixed Salad from the deli, comprising mostly iceberg lettuce, with two small tomato slices and soggy shredded cheese. Hardly a "mix" and the packagings sell by date was still another day away but that cheese wasnt. -A bag of kettle chips made by Lays. -A bag of Goldfish crackers. -A small carton of Old Home French Onion dip As someone who strives to avoid eating processed food and eat locally as much as possible, it was truly dismal that the only items of our purchase that felt safe to consume didnt meet either requirement. This was the first grocery store we saw as we were driving, it appears there are others nearby that we saw on our way to the freeway. And thank goodness for that, because if this is all the neighborhood had I can see the term "food desert" in full effect.

I could go on and on about how bad this store is. I had a lengthy complaint typed up for the corporate office but of course something was wrong with their website so I gave up after several days. Very unhelpful staff, extremely limited selection, always seem to be out of ground beef, and of course my incident Thanksgiving week there which is just too much to type here. Ugh. I go to north hornbachers now. Sucks because its further away but its a much better store. Btw thanks for nearly screwing up my thanksgiving with my famiily.

Have too many times found fruit and vegetables that were on the verge of rotting. Have also purchased items off the shelf that were so old they were inedible, when I looked, the expiration dates had been removed. I really believe Sunmart must be purchasing food that has expired and been taken off the shelves of reputable grocers and purchasing produce that has been rejected by other stores. (Oh: and they charge as much or more for it as stores that carry quality products and rotate their stock.)

Its clean and well organized, definitely a more limited selection than the larger grocery stores so I dont do my main grocery shopping here but theres always a Family Fare close by and its great for picking up a few things in between full shopping trips. Very small selection of natural / organic goods. I also appreciate the recycling, used books, and thrift store donation bins all in the same parking lot so its handy for doing a few errands at once.

All my life Sunmark well now its Family Fare has been just 2 bocks down. Its a great place to just walk down to and buy cheap items. Its a childhood place that I love to go to. Also its one of the only places I can get Twizzlers Filled style. Its a great place to just pick up a snack or a meal. They also have great cashiers who will be of great service. I suggest going there one day!

Used to live nearby and stopped in all the time. Bakery & deli are decent, but since they changed name to Family Fare, the place has gone down hill. The prices have seemed to get even higher, much higher than Cash Wise or even Hornbachers. No need to shop here unless you do not have a car and can only walk to this store, cause you are getting ripped off here.

This was our go-to grocery store as cash-strapped undergraduates. We knew it as Ghetto Mart. I see the name has changed to Family Fare, but upon walking in I was pleased to find the Kool-Aid Bursts right where they used to be. Keep on surviving, Ghetto Mart. Dont listen to the haters. The neighborhood needs this store!

Unlike the 25th street store this doesnt have quite the selection or amount of staff needed to keep things functioning smoothly. Its also not as clean. The one redeeming quality of this store is that because its small and well-organized you can get in and out fairly quickly if theres no one else in line.

Pretty disappointed waited at the service desk for over 20 min while the clerk talked with the one lady ahead of me in line about boy scouts. Finally gave up and check out without my discounts since I couldnt get the card at the service desk and the manager just blew me off when I tried to complain.

nearly impossible to get help finding items or when you ask 99% of the time they have no idea. ..and their sign that says if its on your shopping list we carry it is not true most of the time. Not impressed by their business at all they need to step it up and do better

They give a 10% military discount when you show your military ID. They usually have excellent organic carrots that are a good price and really do taste better. The garlic bar is one of my favorite things here, raw garlic in oil that you buy by the pound.

Long lines, very dirty and rundown. Only meet I would dare buy there is hamburger. Find many items on or near expiration date. Only go there because it is close by and only to get an item I forgot at a real grocery store.

Its close to home and they have a really great deli and lunch cafe type thing.... Get the cheeseburger basket. Sooooooo yummy. The fries are always crispy. Friggin geeat!

Am routinely disappointed by the selection at this store. Many items commonly found at other stores in town are nowhere to be seen here.

Small market with the basics. Its really been cleaned up since becoming a family fare. Dont expect to find anything too crazy here.

Over priced poor selection not the greatest customer service. However their deli/ cafe is reasonably priced and delicious.

It has the groceries you need, at a decent price. Hardly any variety to speak of, though, and a lacking produce section.
