terrible if you have to do anything other than just buy something in the store. we have had numerous bad experiences at this babies r us. the first was when we ordered a crib in the store. everything seemed fine until we checked out. the person who took our order put it on layaway which we did not want and prevented us from paying the whole amount for the crib. the person had to redo the entire order. the crib was supposed to arrive in 7-14 days. we waited 20 days and decided to call them to check on the status of the crib. after calling several times before getting someone on the phone we were told the crib had already come in and someone should have called. another bad encounter occurred when we wanted to start a baby registry. everything seemed fine until we got home. i tried logging on to our registry and could not. i had to call customer service to get it all straightened out. apparently the person who put our information in the system did it incorrectly. at the time we started a registry we also signed up for their rewards card. the next time we were at the store i forgot my card. they tried looking it up using my phone number, email address, etc but could not find the info. i suggested looking at our registry and that finally worked. i thought it was just this store that was terrible, but we went to the babies r us at park and preston and also experienced terrible service. we placed an order for a glider and it took an hour. most of the time we were waiting for someone to help us. there were plenty of workers at the store and we were the only people needing help to order furniture. we had to deal with 4 different people just to place our order. i am afraid our glider is not going to come in or were going to experience even more problems. we havent opened the box to our crib yet, but im afraid to in case something went wrong there, too. i really want to register somewhere else now and i would not recomment babies r us to anyone. having our first baby should be a happy experience but babies r us has made it stressful and unpleasant!

This is the first time I am buying a bike in Toysrus, which is for my kid, as she liked the color and model of the bike. In the past two occasion, when I bought for my growing kid, it was with Walmart though. I did a ship to store. When I went for pick up (after getting mail confirmation), the bike was in box and not assembled. I was told that its additional cost, which is surprising. There is no mention or indication about it while placing the order. I tried to explain this to manager, but I dont think she is interested for any consideration, and personally her sarcastic response give a bad feel that you dont want to go back to the store, especially that store if not. This was not the case with Walmart in both occasion, as it was straight forward, buy a bike online, ship to store and they assemble while handing over, importantly with not additional cost. I had to cancel the order, but it definitely wasted time of all and taught a bad experience.

It first start when I had to wait 30 min to some one help me order my baby bedroom,second after 4weeks waiting for it I called to c if it arrived,had to wait around 40 min then one of the manager told me she will call me in 5 min but no one call and I had to drive that night to their store but they couldnt find out the problem so they said they will let the manager call me back the second day .without any apologize the manager called saying she forgot to call me back because she had to run to get her kids from school finding out that my order was cancel the day I order it by mistake from the manager who made the order for me . she submitted again and I have to wait another 4 weeks .finally it arrived no one called I had to call to check if there also went to pick up but like always u have to wait forever to find some one to help you .

I normally do not write reviews but my experience with this store prompted me to share my experience with everyone out there. I went to the store to buy a World Globe for my daughter and when the staff could not find one on the shelf and in warehouse, the manager (along with the associate) jumped in and helped me find one by calling other stores to check the availability. She spent so much of her valuable time to help me find Xmas gift for my daughter. To me, it was not only in the name of perfect customer satisfaction, but also in line with the holiday spirit. I have never experienced such an exhibition of sincere help. This not only reflected the character of the store but in a way elevated my fondness for toysrus.

Horrible customer service. No one answered the phone when I called ahead of time (during open hours) to check on the question I had. When I got to the store, no one was very helpful, and customer service popped her head into the back office, asked whoever about the item I was looking for and turned around and just told me they didnt have it. There was so helpful suggestion on finding it at another store or letting me know how I could get what I went in there to buy. Beyond frustrating. If Im a willing customer, ready to purchase, please at least make it easy or try to help me in spending my money with you. Ill avoid this store at all cost in the future.

Sold the wrong stroller (told clerk "I want that one" - pointed at display) after asking for help twice. Called store after I drove an hour back home and was told "sorry, let me check to see if we have tot correct one". Finally told they had to call me back. 5 hours later.... no call back, so I called. Mgr told me "its a busy Saturday and I havent had time". FOUR DAYS later....still no call back. 800 number folks just as unhelpful. Offered $10 gift card to make up for the mixup....wow. Ten dollars for a $300 stroller. Geez. Losers.

Very bad customer service. Its very hard to find an associate. I had to stand in customer service line for 15 minutes just to get hold of an associate. But, the person was unwilling to help. He said he had other thing to attend to and went inside his office. Did not come out for another 10 minutes. In the end all he did was to point me to the section and search the item myself, which I had already done. Did not even bother to come and show me the item I was looking for.

The bathrooms are disgusting....the employees are rude and have no knowledge...a lot of the displays are broken. The store is just dirty!! How do they expect moms to spend 1,000s of dollars on baby gear with a store like this??? I dont feel like driving to west plano to go to a "nice" babies r us....guess target and buy buy baby are going to be where I go now because this store JUST DOESNT CARE!!!

Prices here are bloated way beyond recomended retail price. In one instance, a Lego set costing $23 on Amazon was $37 in-store. Associated refused to do price matching. It was also very difficult to find help, and employees were extremely unhelpful. Items I needed to buy were out of stock. Also, their phone number doesnt even work. Just go to target.
