My fiance and I did our baby registry at the Babys R Us in Frisco, TX. We had an amazing experience. Everything was pretty straight forward when we did the initial registry. We scanned everything we wanted and we were able to view everything on the registry and what was purchased through the link online and the app on our phones. The REAL exceptional treatment came after our baby shower. We went back to Babys R Us to purchase the remaining items left on our registry that we did not get at our shower. We were assisted by Maddison at the front register and Carlos at the registry section of the store. Everything that we purchased that was in stock we brought to the cashier to check out. She honored every coupon we had and went over some additional discounts and sales we were eligible that we did not know about. She even saved us another 15% by signing us up for the Toys R Us card and explained to me exactly what to do to avoid paying interest charges. She then bagged everything up and had another gentleman load everything (and it was LOT of stuff) into our car. Then we went to meet with Carlos in the registry section to get everything that needed to be ordered online due to it not being in stock. He was amazing. We was able to find everything we wanted in the colors we wanted. He gave us additional discounts for our wait and advised us on certain items that were on sale rather than some of the items we picked out. Everything we picked out was shipped to our home for free and everything arrived undamaged and exactly the way we requested. He was an overall pleasure to deal with and was very patient with our very specific list of items. We also did a registry with Target and had an awful experience. It was such a relief to finish our baby shopping with such a smooth transaction and extremely helpful and friendly staff. We almost went to Buy Buy Baby since they offered 20% off your remaining registry items after the baby shower, but Babys R Us came out to be so much of a better deal! Thank you Maddison and Carlos!

I had a terrible experience here. I have been to the Toys r us in Allen and it was much better. There was a women who wouldnt allow me to return a defective toy that I bought yesterday for a gift card. I had the receipt and just needed store credit to put towards a new toy for my son. Instead she insisted that she had to return it to the card it was bought on and would take 3-5 business days to see the money hit the account. She went ahead and just put it back on the card it was purchased with after I had requested a gift card. She also let me know that if I didnt have the receipt she would only give me a portion of the worth of the unused toy. So I told her to just not worry about since it was already put through back on the card. And she was already being attentive to the next customer in line. As my experience continued there was no price tags on the shelves or the toys themselves, I had to find a price checker for all of the items I had in my cart. As I went to check out there was only one person checking customers out- I waited for at least 10 minutes to check out in a line of three customers. There was no sense of urgency to get to other guest. I felt that my time and my being were not valued here. I am a store manager, and I am very disappointed in the experience I received at this location.

Extremely poor service. Asked an employee where to find something and got a response of "I dont know, probably with infant care." The employee never even offered to help find the item. Then while passing the registry desk there was two young employees goofing off and being loud. While looking through clearance items almost all of the clothes were on incorrect hangers, and when looking at clearance seasonal items there was countless items thay were not on clearance even though they were displayed with the rest of the clearance items. Later on, when going to the customer service desk to try and get my store pickup order, I was told to go to the registry desk, which now had nobody working at when I get there. So I have to wait for someone to come assist me, which I get an attitude from this person because apparently I was supposed to tell the customer service person to page him to the registry desk. Then after finally getting through all of that I have to proceed to wait another 10 minutes for them to bring me my order, and had to sit by myself because the employee left the desk after he submitted the page for my pickup. Overall this was without a doubt the worst shopping experience I have ever had at any Toys R Us or Babies R Us. Will never shop at this location again if I can avoid it.

This location has terrible in store customer service and they dont answer phone calls. I called and spoke to an associate after several phone call attempts. She told me I could bring in diapers that my son was having a reaction to because I made my registry with babiesRus and these diapers were on the registry, even if the diapers were not purchased from them. She said as long as they were unopened, I could exchange them. I packed up my baby along with 5 giant boxes of diapers only to be told in the store I was wrong and they dont do that. Honestly, one star is too much for this store. They never have what I need in stock and it doesnt seem like they care about their customers. There staff isnt on the same page and clearly cant communicate policies.

Terrible service. It took me 40 seconds to pick up the game and 10+ minutes to checkout. Just kept waiting in the line. Only two counters were open. It is a difficult time for retail industry and these type of experienc doesnt help at all. I usually buy from Amazon but for some reason decided to pickup from Store, I guess I should have used used friendly "one click checkout" from amazon. Toys are us should learn from Costco, they have exceptional checkout process.

Item ordered on 21/1, site claimed the item was in stock. On 12/15 Called to follow up on the "Item has been shipped email that was sent to my email address on 12/5. They claimed that the label was created, however, the item wasnt in stock anymore. I had to cancel the order and find the item elsewhere due to Toys R Us dropping the ball. Disappointed in their lack of follow through and customer service. Especially when the fault was 100% theirs.

Beginning with my phone call to see if the item was in stock, everyone was SO helpful. Employee who answered the phone went to look for the toy and promptly came back and told me they had it. Another employee in the video games section was awesome and answered my questions. Then the manager gave us the Birthday Club $5 discount even though our birthday card had been lost. I was very impressed with the helpfulness of the employees.

Whatever you do, do not try to contact this store. I was put on hold 2 different times for 15 minutes and then they hung up on me. The service at this location is extremely poor. Its so sad too, because Frisco is such a lovely city and when they have retailers like this in their town it makes them appear snooty, as if they do not care about their rapport with the community.
