I am giving 1 star only because I could not find the option for 0 Stars. I am visting from North Carolina.Today my friend took me to the Salvation Army on Tutt because of the special event happening today. She was told about this sale while shopping in this same store on the 8th of August. As she paying the sales clerk Barb told her to make sure to come back and bring a friend. If you spend $20 each you get 40% off. What a deal!! So here we were. With 2 friends. Only to find out that one has to have a printed invitation. No ifs and buts about it. Showing the sales receipt from the 8th, or asking how we could have been invited and not been handed the ever so important printed invitation helped. We were told in a very straightforward and not very friendly way that it was a no go. The red haired assistant manager? seemed to actually enjoy turning us down. Totally understandable if it would have been for something other than a second hand retailer trying to make room for more DONATIONS!!!! Did I mention that there were no other customers in the store? We left without making a purchase. We wanted to spend money but did not get the chance. Doubtful that we will be back.

Prior to my last visit, I have been pretty happy with this thrift store...HOWEVER, Their clothes are now extremely high compared to the ARC or Goodwill. I am talking about $18 dollar t-shirts, $25 dollar polos and $25 dollar aged off brand jackets and coats. I was shocked! I asked an employee about it, who was a bit defensive at first, but went on to tell me that she gets a lot of complaints recently and that the items are priced in Denver and they have little to no control. Most of the insane pricing was from middle of Dec. on. The earlier tagged items arent cheap, but within reason. I shop thrift store for deals on higher quality clothes and am willing to pay a higher price, but I felt compelled to share since the quality for the price was way out of wack. Hopefully they they will fix this as it was a decent store before.

Prices here are higher than other thrift stores. $5-$8 for baseball caps??? Really??? You can get these at garage sales for .50 each people. Not everything is a collectible guys. Whatever you do, stay away from the collector case items, what a joke. Higher prices than ESTATE SALES! and WORSE condition. If something is vintage, but is falling apart....IT IS NOT WORTH THAT PRICE. I dont know who does the pricing, but they need to change. No wonder the place is always empty. You would think they would catch on that they are competing with garage sales and other thrift stores, and get their act together. Too bad, they could make so much more $$$ if they would lower the prices!!! I wont be back.

This thrift store has decent stuff sometimes, although its almost always way overpriced. I still go often because of their Groupon which helps with the expense. Usually the staff is pretty nice but lately they have just been rude. They act like its a hassle when you ask them for anything. Asked for a reduction on a full price dress because of an obvious rip in the front of the dress, they took it from me and said they "wouldnt even sell anything in that condition" and when I told them Id still like to have it to fix they sold it to me for full price.... what a joke.

Large clothing selection for women, mens section is pretty barren. Lots of couches and the "nick nack" section is basically trash. There are literally empty Cologne bottles for sale. Im not very impressed with the store over-all but my wife will usually end up buying some clothes. Plus, on my last trip I had a very.... ummmmm..... "devout" employee following me around asking me if I had found jesus yet which was very annoying.

books are priced too high, as well as the furniture. I can pay $250 for a nice sofa on elsewhere thats new. Here you dont know if it came from a smoke-free pet-free home, what the damages are on it, ect. Some are even extremely stained and its sad to see how much they put the price for! HOWEVER, this is the place to shop for clothes. and they have deals every week as well as a military day.

We like to stop in every once and a while and see what deals we can find. This last trip we found a winter coat for our son that was brand new. With how fast he is growing you cant beat getting a new jacket at the fraction of the cost since he will probably out grow it before next winter. We donate to the Salvation Army all the time and we will continue to shop at this store.

Ive been here a few times and its rare that I end up buying anything. Ive donated a few times but when I donated today the guy just dumped a box of kitchen items into another container breaking at least six glass items. What a waste. Think Ill find somewhere else to donate from now on.

I show up at 0745 and the back of the building is blocked with cones... Its almost like you dont want our free stuff that youll turn around and sell for a profit... Scared youre going to get someones garbage at night you cant sell? Thats the price of doing business....

Its OK at best. The layout is something to be changed. The staff is always in a rush, even if nothing is going on they always seems to rush. Prices is the downfall. Prices on most items are outrageous, in most cases it would be cheaper to buy new.

Clean facility. However, the prices here are outrageous! Of all the thrift stores in the Springs, these are the highest prices. With this being said, I go their on days that they have 50% of all their items for a great bargain!

The Salvation Army has an awesome selection of household goods at a cheap price. The best part about the Salvation Army is it saves lives. Their rehabilitation program gives thousands of people a second chance at life.

Nice and mostly clean. Always has good stuff. It is overpriced, although if you get the groupons..... not as bad. Lots of people during certain parts of the day and the cashiers get backed up.

SA Boutique has great prices and a great selection. This is by far my favorite thrift store in the Springs. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Sylvia, Gary, Drea and the gang are amazing.

Great prices. Nice dresses for $4-$20. Mens shirts for $1.30+. Found a coupon online that they didnt know about, and they ended up giving a bunch of discounts in order to get the right price.

Very nice, helpful employees. I generally find something whenever I shop at this store. They honor the military with a daily discount. Ignore the negative reviews and judge for yourself.

Great place to shop for great deals. Reasonably priced items- better prices then Goodwill, and overall a much better place to shop at then the Goodwill Corporation stores
