AS a former employee I can tell you Weis sucks!!!....If you ever need a job, DO NOT WORK BEHIND THE DELI, lots of drama, back stabbing and stress and when you complain to be removed to a different department they wont move you, Jason, the current store manager could care less about the employees and if they are happy with their job..All he cares about are numbers..he may be bringing up the number in sales but he cant keep employees...I can also tell you they sell outdated meat and other floor products..There have been many times a costumer would ask for meat and id pull it out of the bin and it would be dated as outdated that same day and they would tell me to sell it to the customer anyway..That meat is suppose to be thrown out on the outdated date but they dont because they wanna sell it so they dont lose money...Ive found meat in that bin thats over a month old ,and they never check the dates on the preslice meats they put out....FRESH SLICE my ass..That meat sits out in that display cooler for days....They also NEVER wipe down the scale or the slicer after using it..I was the only one who wiped it off every time...they put meat and cheese on that same scale ( can u say food poison )..That slicer will go all day and not be wiped down one time...Weis is a joke..also they drop stuff on the floor and pick it up and still use it...My advice, go to another grocery store, unless u want salmonella

Service has gone downhill here ever since they changed from Food Lion. Food Lion wasnt my primary place to shop but it was fine - OK selection, clean, and it had good & efficient, friendly service. Now most times when I go in they have 1-2 lanes open and I have to wait an unacceptable period of time - hence I NEVER buy frozen food here. So many times Ive been in line and no employee will notice the extremely long lines and that another lane needs to opened - until and unless a customer complains, which I have seen happen many times. I guess if you go at the most dead times it could be OK - but get a handful of people in line and its a mess. It used to be a quick in and out, and thats the only reason I went. But I cant shop here anymore. Its a weird place.

They dont always carry the items that we need on a daily basis. Plus its being filled with Weis only brands which sometimes you just want the name brand stuff. The door to the far right always closes an hour before the store itself closes and there is never a sign telling you to go to the other side which has been annoying for some visiting relatives. The plus side is they have gas rewards. Downside there isnt anywhere close to redeem these points unless you drive west or all the way to Laurel.

While they generally have good pricing on the items they have in stock, the biggest downside to this neighborhood market is that they frequently will be out of stock , or wont carry an item altogether. TH staff is super friendly, and go about their tasks of helping the customer in as professional a manner as one would expect. Certainly not the epitome of customer service, but a great, solid shopping experience, provided what you wanted was available...

I went in to just pick up a lighter for a bbq and it took over 10 minutes to check out due to two customers in front of me that could not comprehend the credit card chip system. The staff was friendly and the store was what you expect from a discount/mid-range grocer. No self check and few lines open. I doubt Ill bother going back.

Very clean and great checkout staff. Their sales could be better but it doesnt stop me from coming back. The store presents well and the layout is convenient. I feel like I just arrived when I realize that I am finished, ending my shopping trip with a cashier who smiles and makes me feel like their neighbor.

This Weis recently replaced the Food Lion at the same location. Ive never been to the Food Lion, and I dont typically shop at Weis, but I stopped here to grab a few things since I was driving past. I bought some chicken and didnt notice at the time that it was out of date.
