NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! Besides been a very cheap store, it has the worst customer service I ever experienced shopping in Astoria. They sold me a defective product and when I went to return they refused it. I called 1 day before stating the problem and the lady who answered told me to come with the receipt and hung up the phone even before I had finished speaking. Very disappointed. But, Im glad I have better options near me. I WILL NEVER RETURN.

I really dislike there customer service. Theread are only 3 sweet ladies. I brought back an item that was damaged and she said with a very disgusted face it loo used. I was embarrassed as other customers looked at me strangely. I ask another worker can you tell me where the pet section is and she has the nerve to say "I dont know". Are people that rude? She pointed and said hey look there. I only like the prices but the service is awful...

One of my fav shops in Astoria, DII has an ever-changing selection of household goods and foods. I love that theres always something different and unexpected... and cheap. Lines for the register can get long at prime time. Also : the owner kept & restored the beautiful, historic façade of the building (a Childs restaurant from the 1920s), which shows huge respect to the local community. Wonderful place.

The newly expanded store offers some good deals on basic home goods and causal clothing. The food and snack items are overpriced however compared to neighboring stores, so shop with a carefully eye. The employees are always helpful and efficient.
