Not the best Walmart for reasons that include low or missing stock of basics you find easily at other Walmart stores, customers service is a crap shoot depending on who you get. Always a long line to return and pick up items. This location has a very crowded parking lot in weekends and holidays be prepared, or go during the week before 2pm. The aisles have very narrow pathways that are semi blocked at the ends with giant steel beams, difficult to navigate around with a full cart, if you are shopping with a small child or have a stroller or wheelchair or bad back be mindful that when the place gets crowded its very very uncomfortable to shop there. Recently they have made improvements to the layout and aisles but the front end still can use some work. Good prices on basic food, baby and household items. Always a great deal on automotive as well as getting keys made cheap. Garden center is usually decent.

Ive never quite experienced such a horrible time in a retail store. I dont expect too much from a Walmart, but I would think that having product to sell would be a pretty big ticket item. Ive been here maybe 3 times, and every time theres always huge sections of shelves and coolers just completely bare! Beyond that, Ive never seen more than 2 registers open, 1 normal and 1 "speedy" checkout. This last time I was there, the cashier left her post mid-transaction to go to the end of her lane, pick out a pack of gum, open it, and put a piece in her mouth. She then proceeded to get back to her position and continue work. This happened at the last checkout (a speedy one), right in front of the CSS booth ... which I believe is the customer service supervisor or something to that effect. Absolutely the worst retail experience EVER.

I would give no star if it allowed me to. I ordered 10 items in one order and the website said I can only do a pick up at local store. I went to the local store to pick up the items today and had expected all items to be in one box ready for me to pick up, but in the end no, when I gave my order number at the pick up station, the local store give me 3 out of 10 items from the order and in 3 separate boxes, I didnt find out until I got home. that the rest of the order was still at local walmart store and some were even "returned" due to not being picked up. How massed up is that. If everything is in one order, I expect to pick up everything in one order. I also like to complaint the manager at 1220 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590, very bad attitude. Wont apologize for the order mess up and hang up on me as well.

I chose a line that had only 1 person besides the person getting checked out. The cashier was very chatty beyond being pleasant, was in a conversation. So it took a very long time to finish. A little faster with the person in front of me. When it was my turn I informed her that I had my own bags. Not that I wanted to bag my own but I wanted her to use my bags. Which had hooks so they were open for her to put the stuff in . Attitude. She didnt appreciate having to bag in my bags which was no different and actually easier then putting them in the plastic bags. She threw the stuff in and I mean threw. She needs to be told to be less conversational, being chatty and speaking to the customer is great I was in the business. And should be told if a person has their own bigs doesnt mean that they dont have to bag it.

I was on hold 3 mintues, 5 mintues and then 46:20 min to try to find if they have a specific computer desk. After 3 times i ask for the manager, she apologizes, put me on hold for 3 more min, comes back says they dont have the desk, fine. Then I say do u no another walmart that might, she says, do you want the number to the one in Uniondale. I polity say is there any way you can look it up in the computer. "That might not be as fast as you think to find out". I shoudlve said to her, well if it takes u less then 46:20 then it be less then time. Honestly the nerve, I was really courteous too. I think I may have to call back n get that managers name, really that was just redcioulse. No i dont want the phone number to another hour wait. just lookin it up you uncaring and incompetent employee.

Went to purchase some clothing, I had ask one of the floor women about an item of clothing I was looking for, first she wasSpanish speaking and stated to me that this wasnt the area she work and that she was only a cashier and I would have to find someone else to help and proceeded to talk with another on the floor in Spanish. I happen to speak Spanish and understand it, she then started speaking Spanish about me to her coworker. I then went the floor supervisor and she was no help. She blew me off telling me she would take care of it and hurried me away. I will not go back to that store again!!

After reading the reviews before me, I wanted to call this Wal-Mart before I bothered to make the trip. I called to ask if they had a certain product in stock. When someone answered my call, they didnt sound too happy to have to answer the phone. After being placed on hold for nearly 8 minutes, someone finally come back on the line and asked me what product I was searching for. She was nice, I guess, but then I was placed on hold again and when she returned shes like "no." Im like uh thanks so much. Nice experience, not. Glad I didnt waste time going to the store.

Wanted to confirm a item was in stock before i drove there. Waited on the phone for over 20 mins.... Then got hung up on... Called back waited; another 20 mins... Then got hung up on... Called back again.... Got transferred to the wrong department... transferred back... Hung up on.. Called to talk to management...Got hung up on... Why does "Walmart" company keep this location in such bad condition... Will not ever recommend this store to anyone... Nor their other location now. Go to Target or even Sears... not worth the head-ache to save couple dollars

Went with some friends to see if this walmart was as bad as the reviews made it seem. To be honest I was hoping to have a bad time. Everything I had hoped for was there: the cluttered aisles, the overcrowded lines, the workers who are just there for the hell of it. My friend asked an employee where he could find a bottle opener and the response was: "idk maybe the sporting goods section" and another said "It could be anywhere in this store man" lmao. Ive never been so happy to not find anything I was looking for at a store. Pretty good experience 5/5
