I work for a company that offers the best customer service at&t and this place sucks i will never go there again. I purchase the tires there invoice # 591009 and then when back to switch them to snow tires and i was told that because i had a lock and yet they did this before they switch them with out me providing the lock key since i had lost it. I was told they dont have the universal key and that it will cost them $40 to replace it so they refuse to change my tires. In my company we would write that $40 off to get the right tools and make a customer happy so they can return back and tell others of the great service but this experience i had here just makes me want to tell a lot more people of the bad service i got from here mainly the young guy at the register wearing glasses he treated me like my car will make them lose money. The mechanics there are great they would of found a way to get this job done like the local mechanic I when to that it took him two seconds to get the locks out of my honda civic. I hope others read this a go to the one in cortland Manor or white plains ones because this one is not the best need to hire new people and train them right set the right expectations as you are aware there is always a better person out there for the right reasons not just working there just because. I just includer a bill so you can see i have gotten my car tire done here where they previously got my locks out with out a problem but now I get this. Is just not right there was no difference from the car before and after you lost a customer and many more just because you fail to spend the 40 dollars you said the tool will cost to get a job done. Also said it will take 2 hours originally when I first got there and no cars where being service only one I guess his just letting customers walk away which he is also letting $$$$$ walk away.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This place is not the same as it was when Patrick and Luis were there. The new people in the front try to rip you off and the one guy is very nasty and has no customer service skills at all. I will not be going back to this place anymore. I have been one to buy my own tires and have Mavis put them on and they would charge $20 a tire to mount and balance them. now theyre trying to charge over $50 more? Are you kidding? Metric motors does it at a normal rate. Get multiple price quotes before going here because they are a rip off and their work is not even good. I got a new tire from them a few months ago after one of my tires blew and when I got home which is less than 10 minutes away I noticed my tire had barely any air. I filled up the tire with air and have not had a problem since which clearly means they did not put enough air in the tire. Not to mention I got their at 8:30 in the morning and was told it would take about 2 hours and it wasnt until 3 PM that they called me to tell me my car was done. Their service and customer service sucks there.

Brought a nearly new tire with a nail in it to be repaired while having work done on another car They forgot to put the tire back in my trunk. When I realized their error I returned to find that my tire had been thrown out but my rim was still there. They apologized and gave me a new tire of their choosing and charged me for the balancing of the tire even though I had already paid for the balancing of the tire they had thrown out. A week later I returned to buy four tires and asked them to match the new tire they had just put on my spare because it is all wheel drive and everything will match. The guy behind the counter (not knowing how I aquired this spare) begins to chastise me in front of the entire waiting room because I want to put "cheap tires" on my car. I didnt even look or ask about the price of the tires I just wanted them to match the one THEY had already chosen for me. I left and paid a competitor. I called the main number and three times was told I was being directed to customer service. But it was a line that just rang endlessly.

Sorry, but I believe that first review may be mistaken, at least by my experience. I've had my last FOUR (4) cars serviced at the Carmel location, and those in lieu of factory and dealer servicing. Thank Goodness but I've NEVER experienced ANYTHING remotely described. It could happen, but I doubt it. Example: Mavis may have been right and SEARS attempting to sell him that bridge! As for the "ROADERS," well, this could have been due to several issues. For one thing, those "ROADERS" were fine. But those rotors defihitely had a problem ... and may have been failing BM, Before Mavis. Also, rotors generally do not fail in the manner described, nor are failures generally due to the mechanism described. Ah, but them "ROADERS" ya jess neva no's wuss up wit dem! I am sorry, but I just could'nt resistor. Ahem! Jim

I have been a Mavis customer since 2009 & sometimes when I need extensive work done on my car like breaks, all 4 tires, etc, it takes a while, but thats OK because I know that the job will be done correct. For what ever service I have done on my car they always check the car out, fill the tires with the correct air pressure & rotate the tires when needed for free. My experience with Anthony who was at the desk yesterday in Carmel NY on Rt 6 was Awesome & Delightful... They changed my front tire, balanced & made sure the other 3 tires had the correct air pressure, also checking the breaks as well & I was on my way within 1/2 hour... My experience with Mavis Tire has always been a good one for the past 7 years, as I will continue to be a Mavis customer because they treat both me & my cars fantastic, & always let me know when I should come in for service for tires or breaks to keep my car dependable....

Terrible experience every time my family goes there. Scheduling and appointments mean nothing to these guys. They are always “backed up”, “short a mechanic” or “behind schedule” Oil change takes over an hour. Oil change and inspection, over three hours. Brakes, drums and rotors took 3 days and on the 4th day they left me and my two year old daughter in the waiting room for over 3 hours to readjust the brakes. They still don’t work right. Save yourself the headache and find another service station. We did. Just got off the phone with Charlie and apparently the inspection machine only allows 1 inspection every 1.5 hours and they only have one machine so if you happen to be the third person with an appointment its a 3hr wait.

i brought my 08 volvo s40 here for all new tires and all new breaks. i heard noises so i went back and they put my front rotors on the back and my backs on the front. and i heard more noises. i brought my car there 5 times after i got the work done. because they clearly do not know how to change breaks...... it was rediculous. and i had someone there tell me that i was noise sensative to my new tires.... after one of there guys took my car for a ride there was clearly a problem. this has happened multiple times to me in the past also. never again am i bringing my car here.
