We love the store portion of Petco, so we decided that we were going to go to get my puppys nails trimmed there. First off we warned her that my dog was nervous, and had never had her nails trimmed before. Second, the veterinarian never has never had a problem giving her shots or doing anything to her before. The woman at the counter seemed nice enough but as soon as she got my dog back on the table my dog started crying. No big deal, we understood why she was crying but she let my dog almost fall off the table. Her neck was being held up by the leash and if she had fallen much more it would have hurt her seriously. She didnt ask for help even though my dog was struggling and proceeded to place a muzzle on her, Really? A muzzle on a rescue dog? She was the WORST service I have ever had with a nail trimming. What ever you do make sure that you DONT come HERE for a nail trimming, their grooming seems well enough but the retards at this store cant trim nails.

I got a dog for my wife for Christmas and her nails needed clipping so we went to Petsmart and they told me they we had to have proof of rabies shot. I told the lady at petsmart that i didnt know i needed to get rabies shot at 4 moths and i thoughts it was at 6 months. So she looked and me like i was stupid and said so is there anything else you need. my wife didnt like that and just asked if there was someone we could talk to like a manager to try and figure something out and the RUDE lady said no i am the manager of the grooming department! so we went to petco not intending to get the nails clipped just to look for some toys and food and a young lady (an employee) started talking to my wife. They young women leaves and comes back with a groomer who cuts my dogs nails right there on the floor! no charge!! what a company!! i wont shop anywhere else but petco!! Thanks Guys (and Ladies)

Bought my newly rescued puppy a collar from there and the cashier was so stoned she forgot to give me my change, when I told her she owed me money back she busted out laughing and called for her manager to open the drawer. Also during my visit I asked about the grooming department because my puppy needed her nails trimmed, she said it was $10, I said ok I dont have my dog with me I will bring her back later today and have them trimmed. Thankfully, before I headed back to the store with my puppy later that evening I called to make sure they would have time before closing to do the service.. the girl on the phone said it closes at 8 (my call was around 7:20) but the groomers had already left and to come in the morning. Good thing I called ahead otherwise I would have been very upset about driving there for no reason. I will be going to PetSmart from now on.

we were there and there were 2 people working in fish we were ignored, 1 lady started helping someone we stood there in front of her for 10 minutes waiting when finished she went to visit other co worker who also ignored us, we called to them several times before they finally answered, we said how much is this fish she said IDK it has no price card "WELL DUH" I will go look she left for 5 minutes returned to get keys from co worker says I have not checked yet but I will check now she returned 5 minutes says I cant find a price card Ill have to go ask someone else. we said forget it and we left never to return again. we went to petsmart bought 2 fish and was leaving in our car in less than 5 minutes

We purchased our first pair of rats from Petsmart and they were loving, affectionate and tame. Unfortunately they reached the end of their lifespan and passed away. We decided to try Petco for our second pair. Right off the bat they ask us if they were intended as reptile food, when I replied with a horrified no! the employee shrugged and dropped them into the box nonchalantly. We ended up returning these rats because they were so untamed that they huddled in the corner of the cage and lunged at anything that moved. I have never experienced rats showing this kind of behavior! I will never purchase animals from Petco again.

So I walk into Petco lookin to buy some fish. More than my amazement of the selection they held, I was in shock at the unprofessionalism the worker Katja showed in the marine department. The first time I went, she smugly denied me service . The second time I went, she childishly hid in the corner of the store while me and my friend waited for nearly 2 hours. Not to mention, she rudely one word answered my buddy and I, when we finally were serviced by another employee. All around two horrible experiences at this petco.

Terrible terrible service!!!! I think this particular Petco makes it a point to hire rude disrespectful people that dont want to do anything but collect a check! Ive been to this store on several occasions and they are always rude for no reason at all! I just went there and brought up price match and the manager Sarah was completely rude and disrespectful! If youre trying to save some money and be treated with respect like a normal human being would then dont go to this Petco! Im sticking with Petsmart from now on.

Petco is a good place to buy pet supplies but I would personally recommend PetSmart because it seems slightly bigger and sometimes Petco runs out of stock of their items. For buying pets, I would also recommend PetSmart because the pets at Petco seem so sad and it seems like PetSmart takes better care of their pets. On weekends PetSmart has dogs there from shelters and its so nice. Also at Petco, it is usually dead and they never ask if you need help unless they are suspicious then, they ask at every isle.

Harker Heights Texas. PLease do NOT trust your furbaby to this companies groomers. Today I witnessed a small dog being roughed up and traumatized by the groomer. When the manager was alerted to the situation he spoke with the groomer and then laughed it off while blaming the dog. He claimed it was the dogs fault and that the dog has a history. I have never witnessed such poor management. That poor dog did nothing to deserve that type of treatment. How the manager "David" has a job is beyond me.

The grooming department gets 3 thumbs up from me. I have 2 shar-peis that came with some issues but that did not scare away the groomers. They have been grooming my dogs every month for the last 4 months and i dont see me going anywhere else no time soon. I also like to add that the floor staff was very helpful in helping me choose the right dog food for my dogs, Grumpy and Bashful... Thanks again...

My girlfriend went in to make a purchase, and these morons didnt even give her the time of day. After ignoring her to her face for ten minutes she walked out. PETCO will never get my business again because they obviously lack any type of professional business ethic. What ever happened to the customer is always right?
