Tastey little sandwich shop. This place has variety and flavor on tap for its sandwiches. Great selection of baked cakes, treats and cookies to sate your sweet tooth. Organic offerings and a laid back atmosphere fit right in to what Ithaca seems to be all about. Touch pricey, but I imagine its indicative of quality ingredients. You may find yourself lost within their back wall chalkboard menu and the only way to get a good look at it is to get in line and risk rushing your decision making process. Check their menu online beforehand to pregame a bit as there is a lot to choose from. Reuben Review: The Reuben here is of moderate size on regular rye as opposed to my preferred marble. The ratio of ingredients is acceptable without any problems. No super standouts. The cornbeef was sliced well, and the whole sandwich was pinched on a pannini press. This left a nicely grilled ribbing and no sogginess from the Kraut. All in all not bad 7/10

When we visit family in Ithaca every year we come here 3-4 times. Huge selection. Very consistent food. The coffee is enjoyable. Pastries are very good too. This location is pretty clean and somewhat efficient. The ordering system is outdated and a bit cumbersome, but the employees are quick and efficient. Here is my knock: the ventilation here is absolutely terrible, it is honestly a complete joke. At any given time you walk into this place you will be welcomed by a smoky interior. Your clothes smell like the place when you leave. Please please invest in some real ventilation it is almost unbearable.

I stopped here during a hot summer day to pickup some ice cream and a quick bite to eat. I was told that this is the second location owned by the other large bakery in town. Based on the service and the great selection, I dont doubt that at all. The ice cream portions were huge, as were the salads and sandwiches.

I ordered a milkshake and it was a small - $5.00 milkshake. The small container was not full - barely 3/4 full, and it was a really thin milkshake. Nothing like I get a Purity milkshake which is a thick shake and FULL container, - same size container -same price.

I havent yet had a bad sandwich or bagel. Love the Nutella bagel - they dont skimp! The downside is that theyre often out of whatever bread your sandwich is supposed to be served on. I usually go in prepared with a handful of alternate breads that I like just in case.

Nice cozy place with great selection of food and drink. Ordered a panini with the cayuga cocoa on a cold rainy day that made lunch so good. People watch and do some reading!

Always enjoy CTB. Efficient, tasty, good coffee, nice staff. Theres a constellation of bagel options - I usually get an egg and avocado thingy and Im always glad I did.
