I bought dog food Saturday, looked at my bank statement yesterday and noticed they had processed the payment ($38.42) twice. I didnt have my receipt, but I printed the bank statement and took it into the store to get a refund. The "manager" disappeared in the backroom for 15 minutes, then came out to tell me he couldnt find the transaction in his computer. He gave me a phone number to call and told me to "have a nice day" (that should have been my first hint). I called the number, found out that they only process online orders, and they recommended I go into the store. Nevermind that I told them I had just come home from the store! So I called the store back and the same "manager" gave me another number to call. Guess what - same result. I called him back again, whereupon he tried to give me a third phone number! Wonderful customer service. Its worth every penny of the lost $38 if you decide to shop somewhere else after reading this.

Very rude customer service. Ive been shopping here for awhile now and always had minimal contact with any store representatives. Today my dog went tinkle is the store for the first time. When I asked for some help they made me clean up the mess which was fine but they were very rude about it. First off, if you own a pet store where you allow animals to be brought in, you should expect accidents to happen. Theyre animals! Second, they didnt offer any assistance besides handing paper towels. They made me carry the pee soaked towels all the way from where the accident had happened to the front where a trash can was all while I was carrying my extra large dog on my arm. Ive always loved petco but I will never be shopping at this particular location again. Theres a petsmart right around the corner with MUCH BETTER customer service.

I have a 6-yr old dachshund mix. We both LOVE this store!! After years of going to a competitor, I randomly decided to visit this Petco. Their selection of everything is wonderful, but I especially liked that they carried plenty of cute clothes and toys for small dogs. We spent a couple of hours perusing things. The staff was very friendly and had a mid-week afternoon lull, so they answered lots of questions for me about my anxious doggie and the possibilities of grooming and training. By our second visit, my dog recognized the place from the parking lot and howled and danced from excitement. And thats how it is every time since! He loves that place more than grandmas house and even more than the park! Im not sure what makes it so magic for him. He NEVER became excited when we visited the competitor.

We go to this specific Petco for all our animals needs. Our dog goes to them monthly for grooming and is enrolled in their training program. We buy toys, beds, blankets, leashes and just about anything my dog could want or need here. The staff is always incredibly friendly to both myself and dog. They always remember us and are ready to help with any questions or needs. I strongly recommend getting the Pet Rewards card. It has saved us so much money and it is so easy to get rewards.

This store is at the top of my retail deadpool. The store is dirty, and for such a large retail store there is usually only 2-3 people working the store at any given hour. Their grooming section is just plain old nasty. Looks like the inside of a dog pound. Scratch that, most dog pounds are cleaner. Also, I have noticed that their aquatics section is horrid. There are always dead fish in the tanks, and the floor is ALWAYS wet.

Horribke customer service. Was there almostan hour trying to get 2 fish feom the aquarium department. My 2 year old made it very clear we were there and still no one helped us out. We got walked by several times and no one even asked how we were doing or if they could help us find anything. Petsmart from now on.

The staff is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to fish. They do feed their Bearded Dragons meal worms, which will kill them. We learned that after bringing one home and realizing how sick he was. Thank goodness for YouTube teaching us how to care for them.

The prices are too high. They have a good selection of accessories, food, and supplies. They also have adoption days on the weekends for local organizations which is nice. They almost always have cats for adoption and a good selection of small animals.

I bought 5 fish from this store. One of them died that night. I took it back the next day and they refused to honor there warranty. I wont be buying any more fish or supplies from this store. I would love to give this sore less then one star.

We went in looking for a good and reasonable food to get our Pyrenees mix. An employee was kind enough to give us some of the best good advice weve ever gotten and we continue to go to this store on a bi weekly basis to pick up food!

People are nice. But (for you reptile owners) their mice are freezer burned, their snakes, and other animals are unhealthy. Im never spending another dime here until I hear those animals (and future ones) are okay.

Adam keeps his fish happy and healthy. This store had the best selection of fish ive ever seen and they are super affordable. Looking for puffers, flowerhorns, or discus petco in watauga is where to go.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have never noticed it being dirty. I cannot judge on the fish and other animals b/c I do not shop that section, but the rest of the store is nice.

I bought a 20gallon aquarium and it has a crack from inside. I brought it back and they replaced it for me. Kind staff. The fish is little bit expansive compare to other pet stores.

Get the pals rewards. Petcos whole hearted dog food is pretty good. I know what youre thinking, "does he give that food to his dogs?" No. I eat it. Its good. My dogs eat steaks.
