I held off on writing this review for 6 months to make sure that I’ll be fair and won’t act on sheer frustration, but unfortunately hindsight didn’t make our experience any less infuriating. We took my wife’s vintage watch to Blue Water to get it serviced and engraved. They engraved it nicely, but they weren’t able to get it to hold time correctly, so they sent it out for repair. Understandable, since it’s vintage, and we had no problem with that. For 6 months (!) we rarely heard from them, we had to call them every few weeks if we wanted to get an update. Eventually they called and let us know that the watch cannot be fixed and we can go ahead and pick it up. When we got the watch back the back plate was so scratched up you could hardly read the engraving on it, one of the buttons on the side was broken and loose, and the safety chain was disconnected. When we complained they accused my wife of lying about the button and made her cry in the store (this still breaks my heart). They eventually made a new button for it, but told us we should be happy that they’re not charging for it. They buffed the scratches off the back plate, but this erased certain letters in the engraving. This didn’t bother them and they just handed the watch back like it was taken care of. At that point we just wanted the watch to get back to the shape it was in before we took it to them for repair. The last time I called the store the sales person who picked up actually told me that he can’t talk to me because I’m a difficult customer and he has to get his manager. He said this to my face!!! We trusted them with what was my 10 year anniversary gift to my wife, and they didn’t take care of us, and what’s even worse, they didn’t even really try.

I went in to this store to admire their Breitling collection. I informed the two ladies that I was not in the market to purchase and they did not make me feel awkward by any means for being in their store. They were genuinely nice people. I love timepieces and they seemed to notice my enthusiasm and were kind enough to give me the latest catalog (which I appreciated a great deal). I am not an expert on Breitlings, but I do know a fair amount about the brand. Katie was super informative and gave me a lot of information that I was unaware of. I did not want to hold any of the watches because I was not purchasing, yet she insisted that I interact with the Transocean Unitime I was looking at. The visit to made me reminded me of how much I loved the Breitling Transocean series. The fact that the staff members were really friendly despite knowing I was not in the position to leave with a watch says a lot about the customer service. Definitley the best location in this area to look for a sophisticated watch. Thanks for having me.

I have had numerous custom pieces made for me at Blue Water and loved every one. They even did a VERY quick turnaround when I needed gem studs turned into lever backs for a present for my sister and I had to mail them. Unlike another jeweler in town, they did not charge me extra for the rush, the price was much lower and the earrings were perfect. My husband buys my Christmas and birthday presents there, and I bought him a new wedding band there as well. They are knowledgeable, fun and always help you find the perfect piece for whatever the occasion. They also have some of the prettiest bridal and engagement rings in the area and go at least once a year to the diamond capital and bring back amazing diamonds just waiting for a setting. The nicest part is that they have sterling jewelry as well as 14kt gold - good for those times when the budget is limited. All in all, they are the only jeweler we will ever use. Please dont miss a visit to Blue Water!

Ive purchased jewelery from Blue Water and every experience was met with professional, courteous, helpful sales people, owners and jewelers. For a Christmas surprise I wanted to have my wifes antique ring that was a gift from her mother and was in the family for over 100 years, reconditioned. Thirty years ago the center stone that was a diamond, was replaced with a sapphire, I wanted the ring returned to its original condition and could never have had that happen without the help of Katie. She went over every detail of the ring and then confirmed all the work that was needed to be done with the jeweler, the setting for the stone was incorrect and researched the correct setting, the much needed repairs to the fragile design of the ring and of course the choice of the diamond, all 2 weeks before Christmas! Katie and the jeweler made it all happen, might wife was overwhelmed with joy. Thank you Katie for makeing me into a Rockstar for Christmas!!!!!

I also had a bad experience with the watch repair. I took my 18k Ebel watch for a new battery. The watch repairman said he could do it but I needed to leave my watch because it had so many small 18K screws that he would need to remove. When I got the watch back it would not keep time. (Up until then it had kept time perfectly). Finally after several tries BW told they needed to send it off to be repaired. The $400+ repair bill included replacing all the 18K screws that the local watchmaker had stripped. When I asked for the stripped screws (still 18K and good for gold value) I was told they were not returned. Now several years later I just got my watch back after sending it myself to the Ebel service center. They returned the smallest, insignificant used parts that were replaced. I believe BW or the watch repairman kept the ones that were returned to them. I will never set foot in this jewelry store again.

In 2007 I walked in to Blue Water Jewelers for a Rolex maintenance and have remained a loyal customer ever since, from small fun items to major diamond purchases. Along the way I have developed lasting friendships with the owners and their staff. Service and professionalism is second to none even though we maintain a personal relationship. I bring all my out of town visitors to Blue Water Jewelers for everything from watch batteries to gifts and vacation mementos. If you need something designed or sourced they will do everything in their power to provide the best for you. They are just as happy to provide you with a refreshment and allow you to browse at your leisure for that special something as they are to attend to you in a private room for one on one attention. If you are a local or a visitor you do not want to miss stopping in to meet the Blue Water Jewelers team!

Nicole & Robert do an outstanding job of helping you find just the perfect jewelry item or gift for any occasion or price range. Numerous times I have gone to the store with simply a price range and the occasion... Within minutes Nicole has come up with some great choices. I pick one, she boxes it, gift wraps it and its ready to go, Perfect! Another time, Robert met with me, he helped use an older pendant jewelry piece from my wifes Mom, and re-cast it into a beautiful pendant necklace. Robert has also been very helpful in repairing my watches, adjusting bands, and changing batteries, he takes great care with even a small job. My wife loves your store & the selection, but most of all the style ~ we’re looking forward to seeing the beautiful new location. Thank You for making buying jewelry so easy!~
