Although they have improved the lighting and replaced the refrigeration units from the Pathmark days, the same managers are running the show. Staff likes to hide the deli kiosk and when you use it says they never got the order. Its easily 25-30% more expensive than pathmark was for dry and canned goods. Also they force you to buy more than you need or can store to get sales. Lastly there is some sewage like smell emanating from the office area near the baked goods/self check out area. Save some money, support a local grocery with better deli, meat, fish and produce by heading to Best Market.

Absolutely disgusting establishment. The cashiers are slow, the store is unclean, and the managers are unfriendly unhelpful jerks. Extremely rude employees all around. If you decide to shop here, steer clear of the managers named "Mike" and "Irene." Youre better off driving further down Merrick Rd and shopping at Best Market or Uncle Giuseppes. The Stop and Shop buyout of PathMark didnt help this place at all.

Lovely atmosphere for the most part. Cashiers are friendly but some are outright weird, the staff is there to help and all. Just dont expect total red carpet here with workers. If customers didnt matter then they would not have a name stop n shop. It would just have a sign with a strange logo but that would be too sci-fi right? Right?

Absolute dump. Products are good but its like they look for the most miserable, negative people to work at this location! They dont smile and the line was held up by the cashier having a chat with the bag lady. She even disrespectfully threw my wifes flowers into the bag. Dont stop or shop here.

Every one who works there is friendly and helpful the only thing I dident like one of the female managers on two occasions asked to see our receipt . Both times she checked to make sure we paid for soda or seltzer. I take my 82 year old mom grocery shopping it was embarrassing .

Ive always had good help and interactions with the workers. I like the organic/health section. Its a good local supermarket. Its not fancy but it has everyday needs with good prices. We like it a lot.

Shopping center is where Stop and Shop is formally a womans good selection of food very bright and cheerful on the inside nice selection of fruits and vegetables well worth checking out in the neighborhood
