I was happy to see Waldbaums go because they were just getting too crappy, but feel like "Best" is not a step up. During the holidays they had guys building a work station or something inside the front door, ripping plywood and countertops with no protection for food and customers. The olive bar, produce and deli were getting covered with sawdust everywhere. Customers and employees alike were complaining. I walked out and so did others. That was my second bad experience there in a short time. I e-mailed management and received a polite reply, and offer for a gift certificate, but I declined because its not good enough. Some of the people that work there are really nice, some are not. Thats like everywhere else, but overall even though its conveniently located, I pass it by to shop elsewhere.

Stay away at all cost, if your in need of something drive 1 mile down the road... I live 30 seconds away and need some sweet potatoes so I broke my own rule, asked staff where the sweet potatoes were? This is his exact answer "dont know not my department" and kept walking didnt stop didnt say let me ask nothing! So I put the two plastic bag I had in my hand and put them in the trash and left.... This place is a dump, they are fixing it up but adding lipstick to a pig isnt an improvement. Here is what Id do, fire all the cracked out managers keep all the hard working high school kids...

I shop here every week, sometimes twice a week.Have had none of the problems others have complained about. Never saw anyone taking a shopping cart, never had any staff being rude, always pleasant. They have made some big changes from the old Waldbaums. New freezers, new floors and theyre still working on the new deli and bakery sections. Never saw sawdust anywhere. I will continue to shop here because their prices are the best around, including deli items, and they give a 5% discount for seniors from Mon. - Thurs. Cant beat that.

Best prices overall. Other stores will sometimes have better specials, but will offset by charging more on most other items. If youre looking for a 1-stop experience, shop here. If youre OK with driving around, then you can do a bit better on certain items elsewhere, but I dont think its worth the hassle. I buy everything here, and save time as a result. Store is clean, and they play great music.

This best market has taken a crap in the last year. Your deli counter workers need some type of uniform and clean up their hair and stop acting like its a hang out for talking BS amongst themselves Stop talking while youre cutting peoples food I just seen your worker Talking with Spit landing on my roast beef. Yeah that was me who left a pound of roast beef on the shelf in the ketchup aisle!!!!

They seem to always have aggressive sale prices, while maintaining high quality, especially on produce, fish, and chicken. Recently expanded the number of stores, and have become less consistent in those areas...minus one star, as a result. I hope they arent just trying to create traffic only to get bought out by a Stop n Shop type place... like Edwards, my former favorite, was.

I love Best Market. They dont always have everything Im looking for but the sushi selection is fantastic. They also recently added a little sitting area with free Wi-Fi by the entrance/exit. You can grab a pre made salad or order one at the counter. I dont normally come here for my grocery shopping. I usually just stop by to pick up some pre made foods and snacks.

Great store and good prices. So much better than M/F in commack when I purchase fruit and it spoils immediately when I pay before walking out the market door. Best market plays country music here and there. Has a decent craft beer selection. Also has great smoked bbq section next to the deli counter. The smoked wood smell is amazing when walking in.

They have an incredible salad bar, their produce is priced better than anywhere else. They took over an older Supermarket that was there so theyre very limited in their structure however they would benefit from having a better check out process it seems cluttered and longer than it needs to be just because theres no self checkout for no one bagging

The staff is beyond MISERABLE and rude. Everyone looks like they are in slavery. Multiple times I have bought produce and meat that when I got home I realized were rotten or spoiled. Drive five mins down the road to stop& shop. Youll thank me.

An average store. The produce there is not always great. I have had more than one occasion where the produce starts to turn a few days before it should. They do have amazing chicken salad though. I will go here just for that at times.

Absolutely love this. Fresh food all the time. When something looks like I might be a bit old they bring out a new fresh box for you. Plus the new raw fruit and vegetable smoothie bar is absolutely great. Try the Green Machine..!

First time here. Very nice selection of items. I would say the pricing is reasonable too. I just didnt like how the store was laid out. It made it much more difficult to find what I needed to.

Great prices for produce, excellent craft beer section and now they have a dedicated parking spot for Purple Heart recipients. They will be getting more of my business from here on.

Lowest prices Ive found on meat and produce. Have had some issues with meats being expired. Over all I love to shop here. Sushi area is great; food is fresh and delicious.

In their hot sandwich section they are using only one cutting board for beef ,chicken and pork. When asked, l was given excuse that they cant make everyone happy.
