Im writing this to explain my total experience in buying from these folks at Marietta Indian, and why I chose to buy an additional $1000 worth of accessories form a competitor Indian dealer. Im taking the time to give y"all constructive advice on how I believe the experience would have been better. 1. I like commission sales people because they take the time to learn all about the motorcycles and feel they are more prepared to answer my questions; as I am a new rider. This dealer has greeters but know little about what they sell. Im not primarily interested in drinking a beer and having lunch, although that is a nice touch that they do here on a Saturday. 2. I also bought a new Kawasaki a few months prior and I will say that these dealers selling the Japanese bikes create more excitement for the buyer. The sales person asked me how long I was riding and got a feel for my level of experience. They had cool videos strategically placed around the show room to build the excitement of their brand, I waited around for sometime at this Indian dealer to test drive the bike and waited for a friend to finish up his test drive. I would have loved to have sat and watched a 5 to 10 min video of the history of Indian and learn more about the bike I was spending over 15K for. Again creating the experience. 3. Hard to determine who works here on a busy Saturday. Be more professional put staff in the nice black / white collard shirts with name tags. At first, I forgot who the sales manager was. 4. You have offices, why not use them! Why discuss the final deal out on the sales room floor. Felt uncomfortable as why everyone could have listened in and needed to know what our negotiated price was and what our arrangements were. 5. Dont over promise and under deliver. It was odd to find that a few simple items like saddlebags and foot peg controls would not be in stock? So I was promised the bike a week later and no delivery. Remember its more than just the initial sale, there is more sales after for accessory items. 6. Starting up motorcycles in the show room and driving them in and out of the building was odd and unpleasant. 7. The greeter took me in the back of the service garage to show me a customer bike. Big mistake....Bikes were packed in with three wheelers tighter than a drum. I would be concerned for my bikes safety if I took it in for service. 8. When I did receive my bike after a week plus, I was very happy to see it and the driver was very friendly and professional. Although, I think there was no excuse for the time I waited. Over a week to have front controls moved back and 2 saddle bags installed? 9. My friend, who also test drove the Indian loved it and after bike week will probably buy an Indian. Its important for your staff to understand referrals make up a large portion of your business. I may be the age group that expects more than a younger buyer, but my age group also comes with the ability to buy today.

Bought my 2015 Vintage from Lee with Doc handling the final paperwork. Excellent experience and very helpful. No pressure to buy and I looked over several bikes. Ive been back a few times to purchase accessories and still impressed with the place. Reminds me of the old bike dealership back in the 70s before they became the bike boutiques of today. Very personable staff. If youre looking for an Indian, or Slingshot for that matter, these folks have a good amount of inventory and are great to deal with.

Went to this location with my Slingshot the other week. Tried talking to the sales manager about possibly trading up my 2015 SL to a new Orange SLR they had in their lot, but he acted like he didnt know what he was doing nor did he seem to really want to pay attention to me and seemed fixated on his phone. He seemed to be very intoxicated and reeked of alcohol. Id rather go to another location that people actually care about my questions and were not drinking on the job...Will not be coming back..

I purchased my 2016 Chief Vintage from Doc. It was a nice change buying my bike from a motorcycle shop where the staff are all about motorcycles! Staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! Pre delivery instructions were on point. This was the best buying experience I have ever had! I will continue to use them for all of my service work. If you are thinking you might buy an Indian or want just to look at one. Go see Doc at Indian Motorcycles of Marietta

This is my new favorite dealer! Super-friendly and knowledgeable staff, who dont hassle folks to buy stuff. I was also very happy with a trade-in price I got for a Slingshot that Id just purchased less than a month earlier - I lost virtually no money in the trade-in and used it to purchase a newer model. Oh yeah, free fresh burgers, hotdogs and beer out in the front, for anyone and everyone! Their level of customer service, is definitely second to none.

This was the BEST purchase Ive ever made. I cant stand the "negotiation" that has come with every car, bike, boat, etc Ive ever bought. This place shows you everything up front, none of the nickel squeezing that goes on everywhere else. Everybody is very helpful and knowledgeable, The bikes speak for themselves, I know my Roadmaster does. To get the same level Harley, it would have cost me $40k, or $15k more than I paid.

The staff at Indian Motorcycle Marietta is the absolute best! I can not say enough about their service. They go the extra mile, they do not gouge their customers, but use common sense, fantastic customer service, and real solutions to help motorcycle riders. For all your motorcycle needs, GO TO INDIAN MOTORCYCLE MARIETTA! Youll be happy that you did.

Was working with a salesman and the deal seemed promising. He was going to check on something but never called me back. I called and left 3 messages and never heard back. I also emailed. They lost a sale. Indian sales people arent the sharpest and dont have the professional skills youd get at dealers that sell more than one brand.

I traded my HD street glide for the 2016 Chieftain. I have no regrets! Ive been riding HD for over 40 years but Indian has a much better product. They handle and ride like a dream. The staff is great no sale pressure. Thank you Lee and Kevin.
