Very spotty. Some local farm produce. Good prices on milk and eggs. Overpriced deli, strictly shrink-wrap quality meats and cheeses at premium prices. Prepared foods are hit or miss, pricey and not always very tasty. You can get good produce in the summer. Organics tend to be expensive, except the bananas. The management tries to squeeze the customers by stocking mainly "gourmet" lines instead of the major brands. Lots of overpriced items from dried fruits to fancy pasta and the like. Not really gourmet but priced way expensive. The meat is less than supermarket grade, really not tasty. They call it "angus" meat but that doesnt mean its organic, grass fed, tasty or anything else. Just marketing hype. Most people will not buy meat there after trying it. The management is kind of cheap and will squeeze the customer where they can. The store is convenient but no match for the real gourmet store in Woodbury or Danbury. Good if youre in a hurry on the North side of town.

We ordered the Valentines Day dinner and it was excellent. Well prepared, generous portions, and a great value. When I originally placed the order, I was asked if I wanted it hot. I said "yes" and placed the order. On Sunday I received a call from a wonderful young lady advising me that it would be better to pick it up and heat it at home. She said that it would improve and enhance the quality of the food. She said that she would provide the heating instructions. I agreed and was not disappointed. The instructions were easy to follow and the dinner was fantastic. We are looking forward to future offerings from The Market.

My wife and I love this place. We live in Manhattan and come here on weekends. Even by NYC gourmet standards the food here is great. Everything in the deli dept. especially the salads and fried chicken are out of this world. The freshly made soups in the refrigerated section we often buy and take home for a week of good healthy meals. My biggest weakness is for the pastries. It is nice to patronize a local business not the corporate super megastore.

A smaller slightly upscale trending little market that reminds one of a trader joes of sorts with an assortment of locally sourced produce and obscure products one normally wouldnt come across( like a caramelized fig balsamic demiglace white wine confit jelly) like huh!? Exactly they have some interesting items and it always feels good supporting a mom and pop. Those in the know procure their goods in this establishment and why shouldnt you too.

Ive been living in new Milford for over 20 years and their selection of local and natural items are great for the size of their store while also carrying some of the big name brand items as well. Especially if you live in northern new Milford/ Northville/Washington depot area this is your perfect little small town market.

I found hair in my produce for starters, the people that work there are genuinely unkind, and take their job of grocery store worker entirely too serious. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your grocery needs. The person that wrote the review below probably works there

Its a great place for foodies to shop...lots of hard-to-find foods and good customer service, too. They have lots of gluten free foods, too. We shop there almost weekly and love the selection--bee customers for more than 25 years.

Love the North ville market. Its a little more expensive than a large supermarket, but its small and friendly. Have a good selection of beer. Good deli. Sometimes we pick up fried chicken for a quick but more homemade dinner.

Awful sandwiches.....cheese sandwich had one piece of paper thin cheese and two end pieces for the bread...never going there again...
