The best supermarket I have ever shopped at - and this is coming from an ex-new Yorker. If you enjoy gourmet cooking, you can be pretty sure that Bantam Market will have the ingredients. The store has excellent wifi, so you can decide on a great dish then and there. The staff is courteous, pleasant and very well trained, and the check-out is super fast- if there is a line, the manager immediately adds more cashiers. They accept most smartphone payment systems, so you dont even have to wait for the chip-card approval delay (I told you, Im an ex-New Yorker).

My wife and I used to shop at Bantam Market on a weekly basis for their fresh produce, until the day when some employee gave my description to the police regarding a shoplifting affair (that I had nothing to do with...). After I was wrongfully handcuffed, detained, and later on vindicated, the manager, instead of apologizing to me on behalf of the store, said: "If you behave well next time youre in my store I wont call the police on you". What a rude idiot. I have always been a law-abiding citizen. You wont get my business again, nor my friends and familys.

Waiting in line as I type this. The store has a great supply of exotic foods thats why I come here, but waiting in a line of 15 plus people with 2 checkers and numerous employees just walking around is rediculous.

I love this place. Lots of unique items including fresh grass fed meats. Deli counter has great unique salad. (Black Rice & Sesame salad my fav) Not just the Big Box standards. Staff is really helpful.

Great produce and organic selection. They have everything you would need a Whole Foods for. Definitely pricey but I still go for the freshness, the kind staff, and the feel of the place.
