The food and the selection at the Fresh Market is very good. They have a very nice trail mix section with an amazing selection. However, the nutrition facts show the serving size in grams and the containers display their price by the pound, so unless youre skilled / have an app for the conversion, it wont be very meaningful. They also had a surprisingly diverse selection of beer singles, perfect for those who are unwilling to commit to a six pack of a new beer. I wasnt very fond of the service. Of my two visits to the store, both times, I had a line close on me. I would be walking over and an employee would be just finishing with the last customer, and I would go to put my things down and the employee would turn and without a smile or any form of kind gesture say, "Im closed." I had one item and there was no one behind me. It almost brings about the question, "Am I inconveniencing you by wanting to buy something from this store? You know, I would self checkout myself if there was an option here, as I can see you dont like working a cash register." I would assume Fresh Market believes themselves a step above Stop & Shop, but the employees at Stop & Shop at least would say, "Im sorry, this register is closed." No apologies, no smile, solely, "Im closed." If management prefers randomly telling customers that a register is closed, they should come up with a better manner of conveying it, to be polite and kind to the people who choose to shop there. When I transferred to another line, the employee ran up my purchase and then just stared at me. I looked down, and then around, and back at him," Whats the price?" He motioned to a screen, located off to the left, as if to say, "Theres the price, I dont need to tell you." This employee wasnt smiling either. So other than problems with their register employees and their lack of a normally kind personality such as found in other grocery stores, this store is pretty good. UPDATE: Things have gotten better at Fresh Market. The employees at the registers have become more friendly and I have not had a line close on me in a long while. I have even on one or two occasions had my things carried to an open line by an employee. Most of the employees greet me with a smile and some even try to have a little conversation. It is very pleasant. The employees at the center deli area are very friendly and always have a smile. I enjoy coming to Fresh Market each week for fresh fruit for my office. I believe the food selection at Fresh Market is quite good and though I have not bought any, their beer selection is quite diverse. I noticed they started leaving blank six pack cartons to allow customers to buy singles. Things have improved enough for me to bump this review up a star

Ive been to the Fresh Market many times. I find the supermarket helpful in trying new items. I love how the produce department has many fresh fruits & vegetables. The bakery have wonderful things displayed. I love the Deli Department, the best. The manager Dave is so helpful. He goes out of his way to help you even when hes busy. He seems to be the all hands man and does everything. I enjoy going to the fresh market, when hes working because I know hes giving me what I ask.

the last time i came here, two shiddy employees spent 15 minutes on their phones, rather than help customers, so when i went to get my beer, it was 5:01pm and they refused to sell me the beer, which i should have dropped it on the floor right there, and see if they make me pay for it. that happened to me twice and i am not shopping here again.

The staff in the store is not helpful at all; either rude or too busy chatting with one another to wait on customers. The main part of the floor space is used by useless junk food. A nice attitude would not hurt a bit. On the phone, they hang up. Good meats and produce.

What a beautiful grocery store. The wonderful people from Mrs. Greens now work here. The Fresh Market is so lucky to have Lorraine, Ty and Brian. The Fresh Market has the most delicious breads in the area. Try that peach raspberry or the blueberry banana.

The staff here works very hard at doing NOTHING. Not one employee in this place is even mildly interested in helping a customer. In fact, they wont even finish their socializing to wait on you. Week after week the service is consistently bad.

You would think paying more gets you more? NOPE i got treated like crap every time. im tired of being treated poorly so i stopped coming here. who charges $4 for an apple. this place. save some time and go to trader joes.

Nice place to go, prices are very high but the store is clean and everything does seem fresh. I have had the hot bar food and there is a lot to be desired flavor wise, just very bland.

Upscale grocery store. They have many items, many of which are better quality than a regular chain grocery store. The prices tend to be a bit high for regular items.

High quality food for which you pay top dollar. But if you want quality, you cant do much better.
