Second Chance

If Im honest with you, why not be honest with me? My experience, honestly, I liked it better when it was on Commerce. The Commerce location didnt jack the price up because something "look" brand new. This has happened twice with two different employees at this location. They claim that some of the customers unpack items that have a fixed price to get a discount. While this may or may not be true, the customers who dont do that shouldnt have to bear the weight of those that do. The items I brought to checkout were items they brought from the back of the warehouse, not items from the fixed price tables. This means that the items I brought to checkout should have been sold to me by weight and not by a fixed price they made up because they "think" someone unpacked it from the fixed price table. Its not the customers fault that the employees are not labeling the items that should have a fixed price and its not the customers fault that fixed price tables are sitting among items sold by weight. It really dont take a rocket scientist to see that the fixed price items should be separated from those sold by weight along with its own checkout station. Other than that, I dont see much else wrong with this place and although I gave one star, I will continue coming with fingers crossed that I can avoid the sudden price jumps.

Why all the BS now? This is the CLEARANCE CENTER. Why is Goodwill now selling items with NEW prices on them. I expect to pay by the pound, not have them tell me a ten year old keyboard is brand new and try to charge me ten dollars for it? Then my kids find some toys, and we are told they are also full price?? and that somehow they got mixed up in the other bins - really! Clerk took forever checking every item, then arguing with me about a ten year old NERF Gun, stating it was new when you could clearly see it was worn out. If I want to pay new prices Ill go to Walmart and get something I can return. MAKE THE CLEARANCE CENTER, THE CLEARANCE CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have mixed feelings about this place. Only having one hour to base my opinion on I noticed a lot. The shoe selection is awesome they have Tons!! Now everything thing else your looking for is mixed beyond idk what. It has sections where it says "housewares, clothes, misc" but the only place separated off were the shoes. Everything is so mixed up. And being used to the Austin bins I was expecting at least one or two bins to be swapped out within that hour and none were. I would go again I had more time, but definitely not with only an hr to spare since its so unorganized.

i love this center. staff is helpful. bins are filled in a timely manner. place is swept clean constantly. water fountain has ice cold water and cashiers are patient and nice. i actually dropped my drivers license while i was bin digging and looked and looked for it. when i was about to give up, a very nice employee asked me what i was looking for. after i told her, she took the time to look around and found my license on the floor!!!!! overall experience with staff and center are great. and the prices are great too~

This is the only location in San Antonio Texas. It is called Goodwill Clearance Warehouse. I personally call it " dumpster diving " Things come in from all over Texas they put them in Big Bens and then they say jump in and Shop till You Drop. its on Eisenhower and 35 Freeway. You can GPS. Just say Goodwill clearance Warehouse on eisenhauer Road. And enjoy the dumpster diving. Bring rakes , bring your gloves.

Ive had very positives experiences here. I go 5 days a week and the staff depending on the day is effecient. The crowds can be rough but i see the staff react accordingly and they do a great job of crowd management. Every visit i find something new. Although its a warehouse setting maybe consider a big fan to move the air around? Thanks for what you do

Great finds! Crazy when they put out new tables but civilized and large facility --- just watch your cart if you chose to take one to put items in --- other customers will steal items right out of your cart when you are not looking and staff will not help you to get items back

Managers and workers no have too much experience working with customers...... They dont know pricing, and they dont know how to deal with different transuctions on the register..... Place is good but......they need to remove those people with no experience Thnxs

Not for everyone. :) A unique shopping experience, I agree that its like dumpster diving. I thought it was fun and found a lot of deals. I only wish that things could be separated by type (ie clothing, shoes, fabric, everything else)

Usually crowded and you get run over when they bring out new bins by people digging in purse pockets looking for valuables. Nothing is handled with care so many glass or fragile items are broke. But you cant beat the prices.

We went a 3rd time and this time nearly all bins were a mix of household goods and clothing. I prefer these items to be seperate not all mixed. Austin goodwill outlet keeps theirs separate. Thats where Ill be shopping.

Shop for cheap and new items and grab a snack and a drink while your shopping. cold or hot sandwiches to Ice cream treats and candies.

You can find expensive luggage here and buy it for $2.50!! Not kidding!! Its cheap and you go check it out! Its a must!!
