Jay c Foods in Corydn Indiana has the rudest old guy in the meat department Ive ever encountered at a supposedly family oriented store I ask a question and he snipped at me like I sinned the biggest sin a real ass like I was a scolded dog I spoke with a district manager or something that was there at the time named Mark to tell him about this employees disrespecting their customers and he acted like I was a inconvenience of his time just saying ya ya yeah and uh huh he never once apologized and that means they are just greedy rude assholes I will never go back to that awful place with their rude ass employees and very expensive store ever again and Ill go to Walmart at least they act like they care

Normally i like shopping at jay c in sellersburg HOWEVER yesterday we purchased a 10lb bag of "heritage farms" chicken leg quarters. We put it in the fridge for tonights dinner. When i opened the bag this evening it was rotten and smelled so horrible. We called jay c and was told they couldnt do anything about it without the receipt. We only had 3 items and didnt think saving the receipt was necessary. So we are stuck with a bag of their rotten chicken and they couldnt even exchange it for chicken that was fresh. Wont be back sadly!

Best produce ever!! This is a small town grocery, and isnt very big. Its owned by Kroger, so your Kroger card, and kroger coupons are accepted. The produce comes from neighboring farms, and is the best produce youll find. I cant stress it more, the produce is better than all of our local produce markets. I drive past 3 grocery stores to come and buy produce twice a week. The deli serves the best friend chicken and summer slaw in town. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the store is always clean.

Better prices. I have been going to this JayC for over 10 yrs. Other than once in awhile having to wait at service desk for a few minutes I have no complaints. People are & always have been very nice & helpful. I cant think of any time anyone was ever rude , which actually anywhere you go there will be a bad apple in the bunch. People giving bad reviews on this store regarding one visit/incident. This store is fine

If 0 stars were an option, it would be a more accurate representation. From a complete lack of variety to the shelves not being stocked (though Ive heard the workers say they have the item in stock, they simply cannot get to it), this store is a joke. Avoid at all cost. Seriously, dont know even make a list; they wont have what you want.

This grocery store has by far, the best fresh produce. The fried chicken and sides from the hot deli are phenomenal. The customer service is excellent, and nothing is ever out of stock. I live a half hour from this store, but it is absolutely worth the drive. Also, Kroger cards and coupons are welcomed.

Decent small town grocery store that is easily accessible from Highway 60 . While there may not be a great deal of variety in terms of each particular item you will be able to find most things that you need here . the building is getting older and the structure is in dire need of renovation .

BS grocery store that needs to get with the times. Wouldnt cash a payroll check because it was signed and not stamped. Usually I cash my check at kroger, that I believe owns Jay-C ,so wouldnt you think theyd have the same check cashing policies. Wont be back to this store .

Parking is a pain and lot needs repaved. Store is small but convenient as far as location. If you manage to not get run over in the parking lot or break your ankle you might get lucky and find what your looking for but I wouldnt do my weekly shopping here if I didnt have to.

I stopped in here after leaving a friends house close by. I have never heard of this place. I was shocked to see it was like a mini Kroger but with the old school country feeling. Everyone was super nice. I highly recommend this store.

Excellent small town grocery. Incredibly personable staff. Excellent store ground hamburger(if you can get it before its gone). Sierra is the most awesome cashier ever. Super nerdy, impossibly adorable.
