For a place that pays for nothing and is given everything to sell they are SEVERELY OVERPRICED!!!! donations donation donations!!! that is what they sell!!! items that are freely donated to them. What do they do with them you might ask??? well they take the items, sort them and take them to a general location and PRICE THE ITEM TO NEARLY RETAIL PRICES OR ABOVE!!! Not only that but the 2 main women you deal with are the RUDEST AND CONDESCENDING PERSONS I have ever seen in a retail setting!!! In the beginning of the sharehouse people were nice, prices were reasonable, the manager wanted to make deals and get product moving out of the store. Now it feels as if your presence is bothering the people who work there (the woman of mexican decent and the woman with the fake leg) I dont know their names. They talk down to you, ignore you, are rude to you. When you mention something about the pricing of a given item you are made to feel as if you are trying to steal it from them and or taking food right off their own plates!!! I wont ever step foot in there again its not worth the trouble. There are plenty of other places to shop for unique items cheaper and a lot less grief.....

Sad to say we visited this establishment twice in a two week period. Prices were very unfair and the employee, behind the counter was very dis- courtious . By making a statement that we wanted something for nothing , we did offer a lower price on and item we felt was a little high and they refused make 8 we offered 5 It had no instruction she said go online and get it....., we decided to purchase it anyway. I has a small christmas plush toy in which I was going to get for my dog they wanted 99 cents , I thought a quarter would have been fair told them to keep it. Are you there to make money . or to warehouse merchandise People that frequent your store cant afford your ridiculously priced items,A little more pleasant people at the front counter counldnt hurt. Please remember these items are donated .price fairly , sell them and make the monies your organization deserves. oh yea by the way could someone please price the shoes so one wont have to bring each pair to the register to find out how much they are to decide if they want to buy them or not or heres another idea make them one price , if they are not marked.

unique store, and if you are willing to dig youll find some cool things. They do have some high prices, particularly if they THINK an item MIGHT be collectible or valuable but unfortunately the person making those decisions doesnt really know true value of items. (a hint: if its been sitting in your store for weeks on end, its too high-particularly true of purses!) Id love to buy a purse there once in a while, etc, but no thrift store purse should ever be more than a few dollars for run of the mill brands, and even slightly higher designer labeled things are selling on ebay with a return policy for cheaper. Share house could potentially be a really fun place to dig around for treasure but for more "bang for the buck" and time spent, other thrift stores win out!

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. Over- priced and looked filthy... but that wasnt the worst part... they kept announcing how many minutes we had left to shop... screaming it every 5 minutes! They also wouldnt let my 3 year old use the restroom and made us take him outside in the pouring rain! Both ladies were so rude and disrespectful when we walked in 40 min. before closing, making sure to tell us they closed at 6. We were looking for a specific plate so we werent intending to browse the whole store. Im not hard to please but we ended up leaving the items and walking out. Very disappointed with their attitudes... I literally felt bad for walking in there, thats not how a couple of thrift store cashiers should treat friendly customers.

Overflowing HUGE warehouse with donations and objects of interest (craft supplies, vintage jewelry, Pinterest project supplies). Think this one has to be my favorites in Ann Arbor, and I like that they support Montessori education and job creation for people with disabilities. I had several projects I was acquiring supplies for and found more than I expected. Built a speaker system, gallery wall with really pretty frames, walk-in closet shelving, finished my Pinterest projects with pieces from this store... Selection was ENDLESS...and wonderful... 90% of it was priced fair, but there were some outliers that maybe the staff perceived as "valuable."

Under new management change the way i feel about one of my favorite place to shop.prices are redilousely to hugh and the 50 cents shirts should be thrown out :p... reguardless of charity .you should put prices on all items .it so embarrassing. To bring a item up and ask how much? and find out how out rages the price is :( i very sadden to see one of my favorite places rating low .some advice prices need to be cut..upstairs child area is a low lights and over stock.. can be hazardous need to remove to large shelves..you need staff for hire .not just volunteers.God Bless in some bussiness advice goodluck.

I absolutely hate going to this place. I refuse to go anymore. The people who work there are so rude, especially the one legged woman who runs the counter. Shes straight up lied to my face about prices, telling me that theyre higher than their signs say. They refuse to make deals on broken down furniture even though its blatantly sat in their store for years. Theyll fight you on everything and make you feel like youre trying to screw them out of money even though they get everything for free. I would rather have lefty stick her remaining foot in my mouth than go shopping there again.

We donate things here all the time. The volunteers are very kind, polite, and courteous. They will even take tube TVs (for a disposal fee). I have been inside only a couple times, and found it very overwhelming. It is a large space, there are many things there, and if you dont want to spend a lot of time looking through stuff then you are in the wrong place. That being said, I can see how thrifters or flea market goers would love this place. I have heard from a couple people that while the prices are sometimes high, it is possible to haggle over price -- at least sometimes.

Love this place! Indeed some items are slightly higher than I would like, but I always come in and buy tons of items (like toys, books) that are over flowing and the owner is great and gives me a great deal on it all. In the end I still come out ahead even with a pricier item. I think the staff was kind and chatty and I enjoy my visit. People who complain about service should look around. Its not Macys people. They do a lot of hard work for low pay and minimal staff. They are busy and its not like your buying high end, new items. Cut them them some slack!

A community resource with constantly changing inventory. In the past year merchandise has become better-organized but sometimes searched-through goods spill into aisles making cart navigation impossible. Bring a flashlight to the "man cave" to find tools, wires, or parts sometimes hidden under other stuff. Prices are sometimes open to negotiation based on condition. Huge furniture, glassware, dishes, vinyl records and book selection. Great value for dollar, and proceeds support people in need as well as the Christian Montessori School of Ann Arbor.
