Actually Bruce these guys work more hours than anyone in town. You should try giving them a call sometime as these guys are more than happy to stay late until 7 or 8pm in some cases...and they come in at 7-8 in the morning! You wont find better service from a drum shop/music store than you receive from the guys at drummersuperstore. They are open next to 12 hours a day and if that isnt enough time for you to make it in than thats probably your bad. They are there for me early in the morning when I like it, not busy, not a lot of traffic and Im making my morning rounds or running an errand with the kids and I can hang out in the store at 9am while the kids are at the dentist and just chat drums or pro audio. I just find it funny you write a review talking folks dont work yet these guys work more than you if you pull 8:30 to 5:30 every day. They dont close until 6PM every day and if you were to actually call them and let them know your trying to make it from work,I guarantee they would GLADLY wait around for you, even if you werent buying anything. These guys are ALSO open on Saturdays, and they take calls on Sundays and after hours they work from home from what it seems. I would say there isnt a music store in the nation that puts it in like these guys. Great experience online with them and even better when your in the store talking to them. Great attitudes. Also Bruce, you should check out their Louisville Location which is open later hours for the walk in traffic. The clarksville location is a retail store, however it looks like they do a lot of shipping for their website as every time Im there all the shipping trucks are there. Hope this helps Bruce, I know the guys real well up there and if they knew they were missing you every day, I would bet they would make an exception JUST for you :) Give them a shout bro I bet theyll be happy to make an exception for one customer because thats just... how they are :)

I live in Etown, about an hours drive away from Clarksville. I called (the owner?) a couple of times about a Ludwig kit that I had seen online. First call was a Saturday before the time they listed as closing on their website. I got a machine and selected the option to get service as I had a general questions about their store hours and their Ludwig lineup. I didnt call their sales line as I didnt intend to buy and had just a general question. No answer, straight to machine. I called back and pressed the option for sales - IMMEDIATE PICKUP!!! I asked my questions, he answered them. I was told Ludwigs are in stock and that I could come up and try them. Okay. In the middle of last week I called ahead (with cash in my pocket) to make sure that the store would be open last Saturday. The owner answered and said yes, that he would be there until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. He also tried a bait and switch regarding Mapex drums over the Ludwigs I wanted. Even though the Ludwigs were listed on their website as "in stock," the guy said that they were actually at another store, but that if I really wanted them, he could get them. The drums were Centennials, which Ludwig says are not available in the U.S., but I thought what the heck, if he can get them, I would look at his hardware and pound on his drums. But you guessed it - I arrived at 1:30 p.m. and the store was locked up tight as a drum (LOL). No sign on the door, nothing. I will never communicate with this sorry excuse for a businessman again. First the bait and switch attempt, then the no-show after an hours drive. Do yourself a favor, cross the river into Louisville and shop at any other store except for Moms (see my other review of their outfit). Bottom line: I am looking to drop quite a bit of hard earned cash on a drum set and hardware. I expect at least a modicum of professional customer service, which is sorely lacking at The Music Store.

went in there to try to order a drumkit and felt mocked at the fact that I even asked! Didnt have the setup i wanted and they were trying hard to convince me to order a different one THAT DAY. Didnt call me back the day the day they said they would, found WAYYYY better deal online. If you are interested in knock off drums and guitars, then this is the place for you. Im not saying they dont work hard, but not great customer service. they care more about getting a sale

DONT BUY HERE!!! I ordered a cymbal online and they sent me the WRONG product. Worse: the cymbal was BENT!! Even worse: the store DID NOT substitute the cymbal and DID NOT refund me for the high taxes that I had to pay for the Customs (I live in Brazil)... I was totally CHEATED!! They certainly had this spoiled cymbal and thought "lets get rid of this sending it to South America... The dumb buyer will not can do nothing, anyway! Whom will he complain, the President?"

Guys were great, super professional and personable. I bought a Ludwig Signet from them and they helped me great a super deal! Part of the deal included a tom mount for my kit and Ludwig forgot to send it. I called the store on Saturday and they called me back on Monday with everything taken care of. They went above and beyond for me!

It is great to have a store like this be so close and have such great customer service. I had a great experience they helped me find what i needed and gave me a good deal on it. The guys even gave me a nickname flea is what they call me. I will be returning to get more idems from the guys at The Music Store.

I think this was a great store. I called to ask if they had any Clarinets. They said they didnt but gave me info of when they will have them and the prices. The guy I talked to was very genourous. I believe his name was Brad

They think they know it all, but they dont. Customer service was very poor. Sales staff was very rude. As a professional musician, I will never return to this store.
