The Stores are a joke when a employee can tell you that you need to be more careful when you select your items because it priced wrong on there pos system or it was placed in the wrong price label and the management does not call you back to address this its time to stop shopping at there stores. Heres a short true story I went to buy Pam cooking spray it was priced at @2.99 on the shelf and when I went to pay it rang at $3.99 the cashier told me I needed to be more careful when i am taking things off there shelfs so I told her take it off my order. I went to TARGET and bought the same item for there every day price of $2.37 so dont buy pam cooking spray at stop and shop and think if we want to shop at a store where we are just a profit line for them and not care about its customers!!!

Never see the manager at this store. There seems to be a problem with the self scanners every other time I shop. Some of the staff are not friendly at all but I would bet its because the store is run poorly. They dont carry things and even if you ask for items they wont get them for you. Never enough cashiers open, this store is often very busy. Always at least 1 lane down in Self Checkout. You have to ask more than once for your groceries to be double bagged ALWAYS!

15 people waiting on each of only two checkouts open. Absurd! Only one "express" checkout! No one bagging. Not even the cashier! The cashier man on the register I used thought it quite funny that other registers were broken! By his looks, he needed a dentist and a shave. This Stop & Shop on Fort Salonga Rd in Northport needs to do better! Ill be going to Meat Farms across the street as soon as it opens.

I shop at this supermarket very often and I like the store. It is big enough, you can buy there meet and grocery, I just buy fish in fish market, this is my personal opinion. The prices are very average, not the highest, but not the lowest. In general I am happy with their service and quality of their products.

Close to home. But the self scanners are notoriously missing from the bases or uncharged. Parking can be a challenge too so I wouldnt recommend an elderly person use this store. They have stopped carrying some items that make it necessary for me to go to competitors for so not convenient anymore.

Terrible store. Prices are ridiculously high, product selection is pedestrian, customers AND workers are rude beyond belief. BEST YET 2 miles up Larkfield Rd has prices that are a fraction of S&S, better produce and much broader selection. I give S&S a THUMBS DOWN!

So-so. Not my first choice of places to go. Prices can be deceiving and more than once I have dealt with miserable employees who seem resentful of their jobs. I have also found that most of the stop n shop brand foods are awful.

Poor shopping experience! Most of the self checkout registers were in since state of malfunction; barely any human staffed lanes were open; store was messy; outside areas were straight dirty. I will not be going back!

Best grocer on Long Island. Have most of the specialty foods I eat, especially gluten-free products. Produce department has a wide array of fresh vegetables. The cashiers are almost always warm and friendly.

This store needs more help!!! Sunday, shelves empty on sale items. Bottle return are full no one there to empty after numerous calls. All lines full. Put more people on the registers. NOT GOING BACK!!
