I rarely post reviews but however a wolf dressed in sheeps clothing is what this is. I understand that if your credit is not stellar you might not be getting the best rate but when a dealer kicks you when youre already down than why even try to say your helping people. So you go to a website and they say after you go through there preaproval process that you qualify for anything on the lot. Ok cool so I go down there take all the necessary measures for substantiating my income and so fourth. I needed a truck for work so I thought this place would be perfect place to get one. Well lets just say you better take about a second mortgage out and save up enough money that you could have just bought a car outright with the down payment. 2800 for down payment and 220 biweekly thats 440 a month plus once you add insurance your at about 550 I havent even bought gas yet. Ye about the cost of a lease on a Range Rover or Mercedes s class. I dont know about you but I lost all my vehicles not to any fault of my own but life circumstances. I can clearly say that you will be car broke after buying gas and after the years of paying for repairs on a car that has 75-110 thosusand miles when you bought it off the lot will be worth nothing. The people that usually need the help the most are the ones that end up at these dealers and get cleaned out of any hope they had of getting their life and finances straightened out. I dont know about you but where are the people that really care about people out there. I think not to many places. Be weary about places that can get you into a car today. There are places out there that can truly help get a car and not take what you have left in the bank. Just think you still have to buy insurance and gas for this car. I just needed a truck I offered 1200 down was looking for a payment between 275 and 300. This should be a no brainer. Remember the car will be worth nothing when your done paying it off if it makes it that long.

One of the things that left a very positive impression on me, was the pride and dedicated way Joshua spoke about working for DriveTime. Some sales associate may approach their work as if it were "only a job", while spending time with Josh, it was very evident how much he enjoys working for Drive Time. This dedication to his company certainly leads Josh to providing the outstanding customer service that he exhibits. How do I start this? First off, what amazing people and customer service! I never felt like I was being sold. They not only showed me value, worked with my budget but I got the car I wanted!!! I would recommend them to anyone!!! Brett made me feel welcome with snacks and a great personality, Hannah came through in the clutch when my phone was dying with a phone charger, and Matt who I call Clemson because he was wearing the college football team shirt was cool in explaining in detail my payment options. Muhammad who was helping me, cared about my interests and finding out what car would best serve my needs. Now finally, Christi my sales advisor was very personable and never tried to sell me. I appreciate being treated like a person and not just about getting my money. With every step of the car process she was explaining in detail everything I needed to know. And all of the great benefits she offered made my decision easy and Im so glad I gave my business to DriveTime Pittsburgh. Im truly grateful for Christi and appreciate her service!!
Josh was our salesperson in September and required $3000 down, and when we came back in yesterday he didnt even remember us! He lied to us and treated us like we were welfare bums who couldnt afford to buy a car! He didnt realize we had $3000 on us! Then Matthew came into this and was just as bad as Josh! I told my husband it was time to leave! When we was leaving Josh & Matthew was laughing at us! The nicest and most professional person we dealt with was Merle the manager! We went somewhere else thanks to Josh & Matthew! I will never come back or recommend Drivetime to anyone! They better get a nicer and more professional staff! Very helpful staff ,but very time consuming process. Wouldve been better if i knew about coffee earlier haha .Murl is very cool seems knowledgeable as does Christy. Greatly dislike high monthly payment but if you want the car its a good option. Staff is Overly enthusiastic about auto pay but was not required do so Im good with that. Warranties appear to be good.car in good shape with low mileage. Looks pretty and drives nice. Newer associate William is nice as well. Would reccommend them . My only real issue was time it took and amount of payments but ...you have to be flexible when you want one particular car. Low down payment..all in all pleasant experience. Dealership very clean .
I came into DriveTime today hoping that they would at least hold a car for me. I am a new business owner and transportation is an important part of my day. Joshua Ream wouldnt let me leave without actually getting me into a vehicle today and I could not be more appreciative! Everything was explained to me so well and my visit was swift and engaging. I got great rates and a great vehicle with awesome mileage. I wanted an SUV but I didnt know if it was going to happen for me but Josh got me into an SUV!!! My kids and I will definitely enjoy having our own vehicle for the first time! Car sharing is great but there is nothing like having your own! If Josh reads this, Im saying thank you again!
