My experience with Exceptional Motors LTD was well, exceptional….. I had been searching the internet for months trying to find a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Turbo with a sunroof. Having dealt with multiple dealerships and sleazy used car sales man, I was weary of reaching out to yet “another” used car dealership. I happen to come across Exceptional Motor’s website and discovered the vehicle I had been looking for. The only problem was that I was over 3,000 miles away and was unable to test drive the car. I reached out to Exceptional Motors LTD and spoke with the owner, Frank. He was courteous, friendly and informative. I explained to him my dilemma and he assured me that he had worked with others in similar circumstances. I requested additional documentation, specifically detailed pictures of various interior/exterior areas. He quickly emailed me the documentation within 24 hours, where I followed up by offering a deposit to hold the vehicle. He explained to me that he would “take my word” over the deposit as a good faith offer (They held the vehicle for five business days at no cost to me). At the end of fifth business day, I emailed Frank with certain requirements prior to me making an offer on the vehicle, i.e. new tires, a non-smoked in vehicle, interior/exterior detailed prior to delivery, two keys, and allowing the vehicle to remain on their lot till the transport picked it up. Frank agreed and signed the requested documentation within 4 hours. I made an offer and Exceptional Motors LTD accepted it. They gave me the name of a “middle man” would helped me with securing transport, who they had worked with prior. Two days later I had title in hand and all the proper documentation as well. Five days later the car was delivered to my requested address and was exactly how Frank said it would be. Honestly, I was very uneasy purchasing a car that I had never seen or driven in person, however Frank made the entire process smooth and non-stressful. I would definitely recommend Exceptional Motors LTD to anyone who is looking to purchase a used car, no matter what the distance is.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The father and son that run this place are slime ball salesmans. I myself use to be a car sales man and these two are the reason why we get a bad rap. They claimed that "they dont sell junk cars" but made a giant fuss when I said that I wanted to take the car to my mechanic and said I can take it to a local one but not mine. Finally we came to an agreement that I would buy the car and get a 24 hour grace period to get it looked at. Well, on my drive home the vehicle kept popping out of second gear and grinding so the very next day I took to to my mechanic and turns out the syncro in second gear was blown out. So I took the vehicle immediately back since no one at the car dealership was answering my calls. They had the audacity to ask me if I "really knew how to drive a stick" long story short I got my money back and they still try to accuse me of damage to the vehicle., Stay away from this dealership if you dont want to get ripped off, I got lucky an got out from underneath the situation when I did. I hope this helps anyone who is considering going to this dealership DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY.

I generally feel tightness in the pit of my stomach when I have to buy a car. After buying my used Audi A4 at Exceptional Motorcars in Pittsburgh I found that any tension was caused by me anticipating the worst, not from Frank who owns the company and sells the cars. Frank was truly professional and voraciously honest. No games, no pressure just sincere answers to any questions I had. I can actually say I enjoyed the experience. That is not a common expression after buying a car from a used car dealer. But the real test of someones ethics is when there is a problem. My Audi had a several hundred dollar unknown issue after I purchased it. The car was sold without a warranty from Exceptional. I accepted it that way. Frank was amazing; asking questions like "Would you like to return the car and get a full refund?" Saying things like, "Ill take care of it and pay for everything," which he did. He stood behind what he sold and made it so peaceful and easy to do business with him. How often do you hear that? It was a solvable problem. I was very happy that I found Frank and Exceptional Motorcars and I will recommend him and buy from him in the future.

Amazing people that work here. These gentlemen go above and beyond to help anyone get the vehicle they want. Exceptional customer service and 100% honest. No Sales-pitches...... no side talk- just straight-forward facts and options. I love the fact that I didnt have to ask a million questions to get the bottom line of what I would have to pay or the options I had in order to achieve my goal. Aaron was beyond helpful that I honestly believe that if anyone wants to get a car from an HONEST business with Genuine, Family-Oriented and Hard-Working business people, they should go here. I cant build them up enough. They possess the attitudes and perform practices of a real, true and genuine business of selling vehicles to people who need, or are in search of a vehicle. They will do everything they can to help you find and acquire a vehicle for you. They are extremely knowledgeable on how to acquire information that DOES NOT HURT YOUR CREDIT!!!! AMAZING! Im telling you........ GO HERE FOR YOUR NEXT VEHICLE!!!! You wont regret it! I promise!

WARNING: I bought an Acura from them in 2009. It was a standard process and relatively pleasurable buying experience. When I attempted to trade/sell the car last year, the news I received was startling.The car had apparently been involved in multiple serious accidents resulting in major frame damage and all of the panels (aside from one) being replaced or repaired. I didnt believe it, so the guy at the dealership showed me by pointing out faulty repair welds on the frame and the severely incorrect thickness of the paint throughout the body of the vehicle. It was explained to me, that had I gotten into a front end accident, the car would have crumpled like a tin can. Frank R. at exceptional motor cars had shown me a carfax report and professed to me how "clean" the car was. I lost $3,000+ on the car and put my life and the lives of my friends and family at risk every time the vehicle was driven. I would use EXTREME caution when buying from this dealership and would suggest you avoid it at all costs.

Last month I was looking to purchase a new vehicle and found a few on the Exceptional Motor Cars website that I really liked the look of. I drove down to test drive the cars and ended up really liking the Lincoln that I found. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and professional. I can honestly say that working with Frank (the owner) was by far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Frank worked with me to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. He reviewed every option for the loan and the warranty to make sure that I fully understood every detail. I would absolutely recommend anyone go to this dealer to get a car. I have had nightmares in the past with other dealerships, but this dealership changed my point of view. My new car has been great and when I am ready for another I will be going to Exceptional Motor Cars Ltd!
