All the staffs in Kamman Market Quincy are not kindly. They seem never know how to smile with customer. They dont pay attention their job. They talking to their friend while theyre working. Such as this afternoon, after I got my food, I were waiting for the cashier to scan my food and make a payment for me. I were very angry because the cashier was talking to her friend noisy at that time. Then I swiped my card but she press wrong the button on her computer, thats why she asked me to pay cash, I said I have no cash and Ive already swiped my card. She said she made wrong something and if I have no cash, I have to put food back. I really didnt understand what she said, I go to buy food for my family, the cashier made wrong and I cant buy food???? I asked her : are you kidding? You ask me put food back because of your mistake??? She just smile and said : Yes. Oh My God. I dont understand how does she can do that? After that, one cashier helped her to correct it and I swiped my card again. Im not really pleasure their behaviour. They dont want to work I think.

If youve never been to an Asian grocer youre in for some culture shock! This supermarket has anything and everything, especially when it comes to specialty Asian products. There is a wide selection of produce, fresh fish, and meats as well. There are thousands of other items such as dried mushrooms, dried fish, fresh noodles, frozen goods, snacks, bulk rice and grains, spices from around the globe, and much more. The prices are generally very good. The major drawbacks for me are the crowd (parking lot is really a nightmare on saturdays especially) and the cleanliness of the store could be improved.

This place is really cool to try new things, but I wish the staff were a bit friendlier. A must try are the drinks sold at Lollicup, they are better than coolattas from dunkies with a huge variety to choose from, from thai iced tea and chocolate snow to green apple, lemon, and strawberry slushs, and many more, you can get hot and cold and you can also get it with or without "boba" (chewy tapioca balls, more entertaining than flavorful) which are best in the slushes. I highly recommend this place.

Must-Shop in Quincy. I recommend this place to out-of-towners and go here for fun. I am not a demographic that would ever eat some of the offerings of the meat and fish departments, but always enjoy the wide variety of affordable produce and grocery. Theres also no less than 6 small businesses- lollicup (awesome), herb and spice store, take-out restaurant, cell phone store, some sort of bank I believe, knicknack/decorations/glass pipes store- that inhabit space inside of Kam man.

Great cooked food selection, and great prices there too. The typical grocery store foods are a mixed bag - from tomatoes half the price of Stop and Shop to dirt cheap eggs, all the way up to past-expiration dried goods. The other Chinese grocery store is just across the road, but be warned - both stores have freshness problems. I like Kam Nam more ultimately because it feels cleaner, and its a lot bigger. Plus I like the cooked meals.

I like the selections. There is a lot of Japanese food to pick from as well as cups bowls and hygiene products. I always turn it over to make sure it says PRODUCT OF JAPAN or MADE IN JAPAN. Like with their high quality soups, there is also a huge selection of Japanese beers that you cant find anywhere else. For the most part prices are good. The good fortune supermarket across the street is not as good.

Very nice place. People from Kerala will find a lot of Mallu Special vegetables like "Elavan", "Pacha neellan payaru", "vazha poovu", "Kappa", "Frozen Vazha Ela", "Thenga chiraviyathu", Coconut powder, coconut milk etc. Once got dry "Challa/mathi", but was not that tasty. They stock lot of Indian items. You get fresh fruits most of the days. But Vegetables were not that great all the times.

Very nice selections, priced cheaper than other Chinese supermarkets, but the vegetables arent very fresh. we are here to shop for groceries, not to find a romantic experience; those who badmouth this place because of the smell of the fish or etiquette of the staff or their humanistic concerns for the turtles should really consider whether their ratings are fair.

Great prices, great produce, great selection. It IS an Asian foods Disneyland. Im not sure why everyone is down on the staff? Ive run into a language barrier, but the staff is always nice and points me to someone who speaks English when I have questions. A little patience and kindness doesnt hurt on both sides of the customer service experience.

If you have any Asian food needs, this is the best place to go imho. Theyll take the same item and provide you the main Asian countries version of that item. They have a lot of side shops that sell exotic/nostalgic goods as well as small eateries. Gotta go to the Lollicup milk tea shop and enjoy a cold beverage!

Very authentic and extremely large Asian market. Products from at least 10 different Asian cuisines: Japan. Korea, China, India, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, are the largest. Massive produce selection though quality is B-B+. Fresh fish is clean and a larger selection than most anywhere else around.

Be aware that this place sells fake vegetable, the Japanese pumpkin sold in there taste so different than any other grocery stores. I have heard that the manager had been ordering cheap merchandise to make bigger profit. Start from today, I would not get anything from there since they lied to me!!!

Actually a good store. Lots of frog stuff for the baby. Market are stinks like Chelsea but nothing you need to worry about to much. I recently hear they sell live baby turtles to eat only. Well call me a master criminal cause Im going to check this out. Hopefully of save 1 or 2 for my new tank.

An amazing Asian market, only half of which is dedicated to food. They have a bakery, a tiny food court, exceptionally fresh seafood in tanks, an enormous selection of Asian food you could not find anywhere else, as well as dishware, kitchen supplies and appliances, and much more.

Asian Wal-Mart. But seriously, goods are sorted in each aisle by country, and there are a whole lot of things to choose from. It is a bit like Job Lot as well though, so if you see something interesting, grab it, because it might not be there next time.

We drive from Salem NH to go asian grocery shopping, they have a great selection of produce, meats and fish, another great thing is that they gave a place to sit down and have a hot Asian style lunch. Worth checking out we have gone there for years

Want to take a trip to Southeast Asia? Dave your money and go here on Saturday. You will be instantly transported. They even have a bootleg DVD area and mysterious Chinese medicine pharmacy. Avoid the seafood if you are a fan of animal rights.
