I was in the Austin, TX Brooks Brothers on Thursday, January 17th. I was helped by a beautiful young woman named Kelly. She was absolutely amazing! I never shop at Brooks Brothers, as I typically associated it with an older clientele. Kelly showed me a TON of things I would actually wear, and she was very patient, spending over an hour with me. She is the perfect person to show someone my age how to wear Brooks Brothers, as she was wearing some articles of clothing and made it look SO stylish. I would have never been a Brooks Brothers customer if it wasnt for Kelly. She is young, fun, classy, gorgeous, and stylish...and she presents herself with pure professionalism. People in the retail industry could learn a lot from someone like her. I would gladly spend my money at this location again. If you ever go in and want to look great, I would definitely recommend asking for Kelly.

I shopped today at Brooks Brothers in downtown Austin--right on Congress Ave. at 6th Street. Its a nice store with a good inventory and the ability to get anything they dont have from other Brooks Brothers stores or their online site. A salesman named John helped my out. I thought his service and knowledge were great, and he was very friendly without being intrusive. He gave me the option to just go back to him after I browsed or to accompany me as I looked (so I took the former, but he was always available when I had questions or to go in the back and look for other sizes, or to find out the sizes I had last purchased at the Brooks Brothers store in Princeton, NJ--both stores have comparable appearance).

Ive always been loyal to Brooks Brothers, but this is the worst location ever. Absolutely abysmal customer service. They had me schedule an appointment to see a tailor, and then I had to wait 10 minutes even though Id already scheduled an appointment. Half of that time was spent standing around because the checkout people completely ignored me. And this is AFTER I spent ~$700 there. Zero appreciation for loyal customers. & the checkout people are the rudest salespeople I have ever encountered in Austin.

I worked with John Sherrow here to find a new white dress shirt for an upcoming interview. He took measurements and sized me with fit testers, then found a shirt that worked perfectly right off the rack, no tailoring necessary. He was fantastically nice and helpful, enough so that any future Brooks Brothers suit I purchase in the future will be through him. Great guy, great store.

I like the quality of clothing but some of the sales staff are....stuffy, shall we say. However, overlooking the lack of helpfulness on the part of a few, other staff were great. Decent selection and happy to order items for you.

Came here day of a wedding to help a friend find a suit — Matt Dindio was efficient and friendly. Their tailor even prioritized our alterations knowing our tight schedule. Highly recommended.

Very classy store, decent selection. They did not have the Wingtip Oxfords that I was looking for though. Nice, but not as classy as they used to be. Definitely worth checking out, though.
