DO NOT GO HERE! From day one, I had a horrible experience. First the doctor gave me the wrong prescription, then on top of that their was hidden fees, such as a 25 dollar fee to show you how to put in a contact. Some WEEKS later when my contacts finally came they did not fit my eyes properly. On top of that I only ordered a year supply and got charged for 2 years. The receptionist was great and tried to process a refund for me, but her unprofessional boss on the phone was hanging up in her repeatly and I could hear him yelling though the phone. (HOW UNPROFESSIONAL) I got a refund later that week. Some time later my frames broke on my glasses, I asked for a replacement pair and it took them a whole 2 weeks to get back to me about a frame!! Complete waste of money.. I cannot use my glasses or my contacts. Once again do not go here. Its ghetto, not well organized and was overall a horrible experience.

My last eye exam was about a year ago. I had an eye exam for contact lenses. The doctor provided their service well. But when it came time to getting my prescription for contact lenses they refused to give it to me because I had to try a few kinds of contact lenses on which had to be conducted by a doctor. That I found reasonable, but at the time I wasnt ready to pay for them but I just wanted to know if I would be able to use contact lenses. So instead I asked for my prescription for glasses. And the male receptionist was very upset about it. He fumed over my prescription copy just because I didnt want to buy my glasses from them. I found it very unprofessional and childish. Even today I asked before setting an appointment if it would be fine if I purchased my frames elsewhere. And their response was "Yeah sure I guess."

Contact eye exam was a reasonable price, however since I was a first time user for contacts they wanted to charge me a $25 instructional fee to teach me how to use contacts. Kept raising the price on the contacts stating that "we are the only place you can get your contacts, and they are made from scratch." They were first stating that the contacts would be $100 then after explaining I wanted to "shop-around" they raised the price to $125. After paying for the eye exam I went to Wal-Mart where I found that for the same exam and the lesson on how to use contacts and a free pair of contacts you walk out with the same day was $79.95. The total price for Alex Optical was $190 for the same day price. Wal-Mart also charged me less, $80.00 for my contacts, and the wait time to get my contacts was less then that of Alex Optical.

I purchased glasses and contact lenses. I like the glasses but I had trouble with the contact lenses. I had to come to this place multiple times because I was not guided well on the phone. I came here multiple times but my problem not resolved. Then I was asking for the refund for contact lenses and they said they will. I call the place, an old guy answers the phone, he would say he would call back to come back to me within 2 days but he never did. It was long time ago. I call the place again today, then he hangs up on me and assures that he would call back, with no estimate time given whatsoever. I am very frustrated with this places poor customer service with following up with the customers as well as how they handle the phone calls.

Super rude employee on the phone I called to let them know I wasnt going to it to make my appointment because of my job and I wanted to change the time for my appointment employee on the phone said call when you can make it and hung up super rude did not give me a chance to set up a different time, this was going to be my first time going to this place but never going back I would not recommend to no-one

They apparently dont know how to do eye exams despite that being their business and all. Didnt get the correct prescription for contacts and required a reexam. Still didnt get it right and wanted to charge me to correct the issue a third time. Sorry, third times the charm is not the right ideology for a business if you ask me.

Looking to have quality eyewear for a good price. Was not disappointed! It was a busy day at the store but the man who helped me had a good sense of humor, and gave me a great deal for my patience! Got my glasses quicker than expected and theyre terrific! They have my business from now on!
