We were looking at a cat for adoption here on a Saturday night. We were told we could have her and that we could pick her up Thursday bc she needed to be seen by a Vet. She was very skinny and we were told it was her breed and that she only likes cheap food! Thursday came we called to see if we could take her home and were told yes. We brought her home Thursday night she didnt eat and knew this might happen. Come Saturday morning she still wouldnt eat so we opened some tuna for her she started to eat and we heard loud crunching! We opened her mouth and saw all her back teeth were rotted! We took her right to the vet and was told she needed her teeth removed and they drew blood and gave her meds. We made an appointment to have her teethe done on Thursday. Monday night she started going down hill fast. We called a vet and took her Tuesday night and we were told she had so many abscesses that she was in renal failure. So how could a vet check her less then 5 days ago and not see how bad this poor girls teeth were but to sign a paper and say shes in good health is beyond me! They say there helping animals by adopting them to good home but in the end they make their money and were out of a sweet cat who just wanted a home! Enjoy my $50 adoption fee and the $30 worth of cat food they said she liked and never touched! Needless to say we are now looking for a new pet shop for our other animals needs! Stay away!!!!

Denied our application to adopt because we are gay. I feel that is why. Didnt even want to help us the 4 different times we went. Denied our application but the dogs didnt even have water in their bowls. Stupid staff couldnt even tell us what kind of dogs they were and had no clue as to what their job was. Couldnt even tell us WHY we couldnt adopt. Guy Jordan was a complete ass. We have 3 cats so what. They have been around dogs. I could tell by the way he was treating us that they would call and say it was denied. Denied for what? I want to know why or Im calling someone to see what I can do. Ppl were walking out with animals but we were told we would have to wait to be "approved" approved for what? To rescue a dog that needs a home? Three bedroom house finished basement clean safe I see no reason we were denied. Just went back and spoke to someone else and she wanted to look at our application in the dogs file to see if there was anything written as to why we couldnt adopt and all of the others that applied were there except ours... I believe the manger Jordan placed it in the trash. Meanwhile we just did the app last night so why isnt it there in the dogs file? Fishy to me. I want to know why. Told the woman we have very friendly cats who are familiar with dogs. Whats the reason for denial ?

I am so happy with my experience here. My boyfriend and I adopted a 4 month old puppy, brought him home yesterday. He is such a great dog! Very friendly with other animals, children, and people. We will be rescuing our next dog from here! The staff were great, answered every question we had. Helped us pick our new puppys food, toys, treats, shampoo, crate, and explained EVERYTHING. I would also like to comment on how well they cared for my puppy. The day we were supposed to bring Negan(Jose) home, he had some diarrhea. BUT, the staff did everything they could, even made an appointment for us THAT DAY to take our new baby to the vet, completely covered by them. VERY CLEAN PLACE(consider all of the animals in there) We had an absolutely amazing experience! And we love our new member of the family!

I adopted my pup Tony from here. Hes such a sweetheart and in terms of feeding the store made sure theyre well taken care of. The store manager Jordan was amazingly helpful and genuinely cared about each and every pup or dog leaving the store. My pup Tony was able to pass the service dog in training assessment and I couldnt be happier. The only reason I didnt give the store 5 stars is because Tony had a belly full of 3 kinds of worms. The vet they used said there were "no sufficient findings" when I received his paperwork, which was dated 1 day before I adopted him. I took him to a vet close to me and they told me he had a belly full of worms that looked like they had been present for a month. None of the pups are house trained yet and their ages range from 2 months to 1 year when I was there.

I had an awful experience at this Pets Plus trying to adopt a dog. The employees all need people skill training. My boyfriend and I wanted to adopt a puppy and was put on a list but which we were never called when the puppies became available. We found an adoptable dog and fell in love immediately only to have our application rejected because we were gay. We were given no explanation but a song and dance from the inept employees. When picking out a dog we had to ask several employees before there was one that actually knew which dog is which.

Myself and my husband where in Sunday afternoon and we saw are new love she is beautiful I cant wait to bring her home.we recently lost are 16 year old baby boy and I never thought I would fall in love with another dog but I did when I saw her .they keep the animals very clean and they are well loved by there employees .the animal love them you can tell when the employees walk by that the animals love them.compared to many animal stores we went it I rate it a 5 out of 5

The store smells, all the staff was rude and arrogant to me. They have mice and rats running around their dog and cat foods. Mice chew at the bags and loose food is kicked under the shelves. If you disagree with any of their advice, they give you dirty looks and walk away. The prices are way too high. I will never buy a dog from their locations because all if not most are from puppy mills. They only care about taking your money.

The store is pretty descent. I couldnt believe the huge selection they have of natural foods. They had signs up describing the importance of going natural. I think Im going to start making the switch from the dog food I get at the supermarket, to a natural food that may help my dog live longer. A lot of the foods seemed to be on sale when I went, and apparently they offer a "buy 10, get 1 free" deal. Ill be back for sure.

The young manager was very knowledgeable and made some very good suggestions. I felt she had the best intentions for the animals from there. I got my black lab there (daisy Mae) 5 weeks ago and she is as healthy as can be. She is a baby but she is now so shiny black that she looks like a mirror. She walks 2 miles every day along with my other dog and eats I the best foods that I can get. I am very pleased.
