Had a great experience today at my local Petco location! I had previously purchased a doggy gate, which ended up not working out, and I was hoping to exchange for a doggy crate. I was immediately helped by Phyllis at the register who then directed me to Ron on the floor. Ron gave me good advice on toys to help my teething puppy and a good crate option (also gave my pup some free treats!). He also told me about the online price matching, which I did not know about! He helped me save a ton of money on my exchange, and reminded me about their coupon book to save even more! When I checked out with Phyllis, she was again very friendly and helpful. I rarely have great experiences like this in any type of retail stores, and the staff at this location is just awesome! I will continue to go here for all of my pet needs!

Somewhat a better selection than the other big store across the street. At least the live fish stock seems to rotate frequently enough that you nearly always find any particular fish or plant, in a couple of visits. Small but healthy selection of salt-water fish, live rock, and crustaceans. I also found about half-dozen mopani driftwood of various sizes. This is one of the few places that carry Merrick-brand dog food in the area.

The Lally

I went to get coconut coir. I use it to grow flowers like morning glory and cypress vines. It was in stock. I bought to packages. At the check out there was a woman with a dog. The cashier gave the dog treats. The dog didnt deserve the treats. He didnt sit, and was pulling on his leash. I guess its not the dogs fault, the owner should spend more time training. My experience was overall good, and I will return again.

In my experience the staff here are always willing to go that extra step - go find that case of catfood I missed; do a price adjustment; circumvent the (stupid) system that wont take the 30-can discount on cases (a case rings up as one thing). Last night i had especially excellent help from Manager Jill and staff people Ron and Cindy - informative, helpful, concerned for me and for the pets. Bravo! and thank you -

Great staff, knowledgable. My husband and I were going to take home a ferret, when we noticed he had fleas. They promptly treated the ferrets, and a week later they called us and we got our new fuzzy. They also have a great fish selection - one of my favorite non-mom/pop places for freshwater. They cary lots of inverts too, like Whisker shrimp, bamboo shrimp, and rili shrimp (cherry shrimp).

One of the cleanest Petco stores Ive ever been to. Prices are a little higher than the Petsmart across the street, but they do accept competitor coupons and hold more convenient weekend hours.

I dont think I can ever come back, I came to get a litter pan for my new ferrets and was horrified at the ferrets habitat. So many flys in there. I got to friggin sad and had to leave..

Petco is Petco. Its more expensive than PetSmart, but good for a drop-in. I do like their treat buffet for the dogs, so you can get a variety you might not be able to find elsewhere.

Petco is a great store for a variety of household pet needs. This particular location has a fantastic saltwater fish and coral assortment as well!
