From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted and asked if I needed any help. I sure did! (especially because my rather rambunctious 2 year-old was on over drive and determined to squeeze every loud obnoxious squeeze toy he could find). My cat has been having some digestive and skin problems and I had been reading up on things such as a raw food diet, etc. The woman was extremely helpful, explained the products that are out there, and gave me some trial samples to take home. This was exactly what I needed. Not only that, she was also very sweet and tolerant with my son. ;-) Im done going to any of those large pet store chains and Im really glad I found this place and its so close to my home. They even have a visiting Vet (who comes on Sundays I believe), and you can get a lot of questions answered and some medical check ups for a way more affordable price than other vets. I have already brought my cat to 2 different vets - both who seemed to think her constant vomiting and balding fur on her stomach and legs were not problems. Not one of them even suggested changing her diet or much less asked me what she eats?? I will definitely be coming in on Sunday to see the Vet at Terrys. Thanks, Terry and Terrys staff!

I have been going to the groomer at Terrys Pet Depot for a little over two years. I trust Chris completely with both of my Havanese. She is a great groomer, but beyond that she is honest and professional. She truly cares about the animals. Animals are tough customers and she goes above and beyond for their health and safety. I have had my dogs for 6 years. We had two different groomers in Pennsylvania. One who nicked my dog and tried to hide it and lied about it. Then we found someone we trusted. My Lucy is a tough customer due to being abused before we adopted her. I always let our groomers know this before hand. I am flexible with the cut because dogs need to learn to trust new people and groomers in their lives. We moved to NJ and we found a groomer who seemed ok until I found Chris at Terrys Pet depot. If anything seems weird or off with the dogs she contacts me immediately. If she cant get in touch with me and there is an issue with one of my dogs she takes responsibility. I will never go to another groomer as long as she is right up the street and continues to do good work and is trustworthy. I couldnt ask for more.

Do NOT go here for grooming services. The area where pets are being bathed and groomed are not clean and they definitely do not care about your pet. My puppy was left on the stand for hours with fan blowing against her (their way of drying the pet. no towel drying and no warm air drying!) My healthy and beloved pet caught Pneumonia the day after the grooming service and passed away after 3 days of pain and suffering. Think twice before going!! Just imagine how cold and how traumatized your pet can be!!

Tried to purchase a Guinea Pig. The worker lady tells me "You cant buy an animal unless you buy the whole setup". But I have a cage and food and another animal, and all I need. "We dont want an animal back because you have the wrong cage". Can I buy one and return it if I dont use it? "No" I got their number. So i tell my kids to put all the other things back they were going to buy. Little shop like that turning away sales because they couldnt make a bundle on the back end of a guinea pig sale.

Terrys is fantastic! I have two high maintenance shelters that I am third owner for and this is the only place that will groom them properly. My teenager son has 3 reptiles and their staff is very knowledgeable and caring. Their advice and experience has saved me a fortune in Vet bills. Terry, the owner, makes a point to try to greet every customer when not busy and is very personable. You will become a customer for life!

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff with a great selection of quality pet foods and products. My two Portuguese Water Dogs and I have been customers for many years and love shopping at Terrys. Chris does an excellent job grooming. She is a kind, understanding, patient and skillful groomer that will adapt to the needs of the dog and owner.

I use them because they carry a specific brand of food, aside from that, not a fan. The women that work in there are the exact opposite of pleasant. Most are snootty and snide, wake up you work in a pet store not sax 5th ave. They are overpriced and not too friendly. BUT they carry stuff some people need. I.e Speicific foods.

Terry is really great. She truly loves animals and cares about what she does. I have found all the people who have helped me to be really nice from the owner Terry to the Groomers to the Cashiers. My dog and I always have a positive experience!

I love Terrys. Very friendly and organized staff, and theyll go out of their way to order items that they dont have for you. On the expensive side, but its worth it with the shopping experience. Highly recommended.
