I have gone to Westboro pet shop for years now, dog food, fish, fish food, the list goes on. I have typically found the staff very polite. But tonight, when my two daughters went in with their sitter, they didnt have the new dog food we needed (dog has allergies now). This made my autistic daughter very upset that her dog would never eat again...so she threw a bit of a scene, not that there was anyone else in the store. The woman behind the counter began to chastise her for her behavior, not once but many times even coming from around the counter to tell her she was too old to act that way and they didnt allow it in their store. My special ed experienced sitter tried in vain to tell the woman she could handle it. Yelling at an autistic child does not calm the situation. I later called to inform her I was upset with her unprofessional behavior, my daughters condition and they just lost a loyal customer..."no apology" her reply was a nonchalant "Okay". Making the trip to Petco from now on!

Wetborough Pet shop has nice people but they dont know what they are doing. I hav bought a hermit crab for my step-sister because she had wanted one and i went back a few days later and told them i wanted to return it. The girl had said that they cannot take back live animals. Less than a week later (today) i asked my step-father to go back because the hermit crab had died and they told my step father that it can only be returned within 14 days where as the same girl told me that i have a month to ruturn it, and she also told him that they cannot accept dead animals where the same girl told me they could only except it if the animal was dead. The Westborough Pet Shop is not a very well organized business and does not have any workers that know what they are talking about.

Such a great Pet Shop, Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, with a good selection of products. We have used the groomer service here a few times and my 100lbs lab struts his stuff all afternoon.

Westboro Pet is an awesome pet store! The service is great, so are the staff. I take my dog there to get her nails clipped. They do an awesome job! All animals there are healthy and happy.
