First off I do wanna say this place is a decent place to buy from if your looking to buy decent used stuff for a OK price...but with that said trust me when I say this place is not the place to try to buy new or to trade your stuff in on. ..I had done business with these guys b4 & it went OK still lost alot but I was OK with that. ..but then last time I tried to do business I got lied to & ripped off. .I was trading 3 bats to them & I was told they would hold my 3 & see if they could match a different place on getting me a new bat a Easton flex & was gonna call me the very next day. .well next day come & I never received a call so I called them & behold they had already sold one of my bats & couldnt even get close to the Easton bat price & also didnt remember telling me they was gonna give me 40 more dollars on my bats if he couldnt match the price..they wanted 285$ for the Easton I got it from another store for 189$..so definitely not the place to buy new or trade .

My daughter and I dropped in just to check out the kayaks. They had just gotten one in that wasnt out on the showroom floor yet. We went in the back, they pulled the kayak down so my daughter could try it out. They were so helpful explaining they can accept payments. I went back the next day on Christmas Eve to make a down payment, and they offered me a great deal for Christmas. Instead of putting money down on it that day, I left with it and was able to give it to my daughter for Christmas. I had not planned on taking it home that day, but they made it possible. They even measured the kayak and loaded up in my car for me. These people were really nice and so easy to work with. Definitely will be going back if I need anything else!

Sunday, 10/30/16, bought a second piece of new exercise equipment from Play it Again Sports. As for the price, it was the same price as on Amazon for prime members. However, Amazon charged $150 for in-home assembly. The elliptical I purchased was assembled and we brought it home thinking it would go down the hallway into the exercise room. It didnt. A quick call and the owner/staff said they would be by after the store closed to help with getting it in. Removal of a few parts and within 30 minutes they had the elliptical in the room and re-assembled. Now, this was after hours on a Sunday. Given that customer service is a thing of the past, they made 5 stars for that alone in my book. Will be a return customer.

Was interested in the Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion Table that they had available. Price tag was labeled around $260 or so, and they said they could do $208 out the door. I was able to purchase the same inversion table brand new else where or $7 more after tax. Used equipment for only a 3.5% discount of the new price? Sorry, but thats a ripoff. Id double check what youre planning on buying from them on Google first. Im all for the resuse of items, but theyre coming close to charging brand new prices for used equipment.

I had a EXTREMELY SPECTACULAR experience with Play It Again Sports in Asheville. The staff was VERY friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the equipment. Quality equipment at a Very Fair and Reasonable price too! Management was equally proficient and professional. I will definitely purchase there again. Went in to the store to get a treadmill for my mom, I had a hard time finding one that I thought would fit her needs. They have such a great variety of new and used products. I was able to ask the staff about the treadmills they carried and they were able to answer every question I threw at them. I cant believe how knowledgeable they are about their products. Another great thing is that the manager was able to give me a great deal! Ill definitely be going back to this store.

This place is a joke they try to low ball you on your stuff then when you go back they have your stuff on the shelf for 3 times what they gave you for it I took a brand new softball bat up there when he looked it up on the computer it was selling for 180.00 and he offered me 33 dollars not only was I insulted this establishment are crooks I will never do business with them again

If you play disc golf, you should check out Play It Again. They have bins of used discs for about $5-$12, but also a huge selection of new discs. I have also shopped here for general workout gear and foam rollers, and they have items at good prices in good shape.

Great spot for used sports equipment. I havent sold anything to them, but Ive bought plenty of used stuff. Overall, price and selection are reasonable. The place is a little messy though, they almost have too much stuff crammed in there.
