Of the (3) Total Wines I have been to in Florida, this by far is the least helpful. I was sent around in circles around the store looking for something that should have been an easy answer (what Orlando Brewing Company Beers they had to offer). It took me a bit to try to find help, and when I did find a guy standing in an adjacent isle he informed me he was a wine guy, but it would try to help. He sent me to the Local Craft Beers section where I already had been standing for 15 minutes trying to find what I was looking for, but figured I give it another shot. I still did find not anything by Orlando Brewing Company, so then I went and found him again. He came and looked with me, but still nothing. He eventually called someone, and they said they were kept in the refrigerated section. I went back to the refrigerated section, , but he did not come with me to make sure I found it, and of course I didnt find anything. So I hunted around the store again to find someone to help me again, and only one I could find was the same wine guy. He came and tried to help again, and just stood there for a bit staring at the refrigerated section as well, and not finding it. He eventually called someone, and they informed him to check inside the the walk in cooler. After a little hunting, we discovered an opened box with a few beers in it. Not really wanting a partial box, I cut my losses. Wasted about 30 minutes in the store, whereas if someone more knowledgeable on their local craft beer inventory or a manager could would assist, or just someone that could look up their inventory could have saved us a lot of time. It then came time to leave the parking lot. That was an absolute nightmare! The design of the roads to get out there is horrendous with only one way out, that was backed up by a stop light. It literally took over 30 minutes to get out of the parking lot. That alone discourages me to never come in to that shopping again, rather for Total Wine, BJS’s or any of the stores in there. So now I was up to an hour wasted with nothing to show for it.

DISCLAIMER: YOU CAN NOT BUY ALCOHOL AT TOTAL WINE WITH A VALID STATE I.D. FROM NOW ON.... SO WE WERE TOLD BY THE MANAGER. ABUSE OF AUTHORITY. (Read more) One star reviews never lie. I decided to make my usual biweekly stop at Total Wine. After enjoying my visit there shopping and reading about some of the selections as I usually do before checking out. My girlfriend and I made our way to the counter where I was treated like I was uneducated and unaware of the state law and store policy when it comes to purchasing alcohol. The cashier asked us for our... "I.D.s" I showed her mine, except my girlfriend left her licence in the vehicle. No biggie... They have to do their job, I support that 100%. So the cashier said shell call the manager over to see if she could help. I figured she was on her way to see if there was some other form of "I.D." that would have been ok. Heres the good part. The manager came over and she immediately wore a face that obviously decided to not be at all kind to us and displayed a lack of interest in making us feel welcome. She just looked like she would make sure we werent going to leave there unhappy. Not sure why her attitude towards us instinctively lead her to tell us a blatant lie. My girlfriend pulled out her valid New York City I.D. and I gave it to the cashier who gave it to the manager. She returned it after taking a glance and refused to do business with us saying that we cant use that I.D. I said, excuse me? I told her, "Maam this is a New York State I.D." She replied, "itll have to be a Drivers licence. " So do you have to be a motor vehicle operator in order to purchase alcohol? "Please, be true to your customers and dont abuse your authority."

I love Total Wine because of their selection and great prices. I have been shopping at this location for years but after last night I will never go there again. My wife and I went in to get some special beers for my birthday and the cashier demanded to see both of our IDs. I was making the purchase and I had my ID. My wife did not. Neither of us are under 30. They have a sign in their window that says "Under 30? Please have ID Ready. YOU MUST BE 21 to make a purchase in this store...WE ARREST MINORS!" No you dont arrest minors. The police arrest them. You press charges. We ended up speaking with a supervisor (Jessica, who lied to me and said she was the manager). She said they couldnt sell me anything unless my wife provided ID even though the purchase was for me. She gave me a load of horse crap. We ended up driving home, got my wifes ID and made the purchase. The girl that rang us up left her register and hid when we came back to the store. Both of these employees were rude and used the excuse that they were "doing their job". I wasnt going to let them ruin my birthday, but I feel like the cashier purposely did this. If I had cashed out in the other register with the girl with the green hair she wouldnt have carded either of us because she always recognizes us.

Total Wine - the name speaks the truth! Nowhere else will you find such a monstrous selection of wines from around the world and and from both ends of the price/quality spectrum. And it goes without saying... you will see nearly every accessory to wine (both old and modern) that you could want, need, or never knew existed but have to have now that youve seen it! But -- thats only a portion of what youll find here at this fine place. Aside from wine, you will also find hard liquors, beer, and nearly everything else that is alcohol you can imagine! And, just as with the wine here, you can expect to find spirits of all types... beer of all types... and even nonalcoholic beverages to compliment your world alcoholic beverage of choice. As for my visit this evening, I came looking for something nonalcoholic thats very hard to find for sale anywhere. Sure enough, Total Wine had plenty of it! Key word there is "had". As I was ringing out, the employee helping me, Ashley, took the time to pause for a minute even though the store had already closed, to recommend some different liquors that would go very well with Butterscotch Beer. Thats definitely going above and beyond... and to me means that both Ashley and the store itself deserve a 5/5 star rating.

I have never had such an horrible experience, i asked the person who was serving wine at the taste wine for a taste, he actually told me with a very bad attitude that he close at 6, wich i understood, when i turn my back on him, he pulls out two cup to serve to two ladies that were there, for wich i ask them why he did that wich he responds "they are with me", wow i dont know if it was because i was latino or people that works at total wine can serve to their families and friend after hours, i dont know, but i have never felt such horrible feeling on this country
