I have been buying my cooking wines, celebration liquors, and gift sets at this location for the last year and a half. To start, Im 26 years old, I have been a loyal customer until the manager embarrassed me in front of a large group of people today. My boyfriend (29) and I went in to grab a bottle of Marsala for our dinner tonight and once I was halfway down the isle I realized I didnt have my ID (because my wallet had been recently stolen and I was waiting on a police report before I could replace my license.) This is when I told my boyfriend I would wait in the car since he had his ID. On my way out, I realized they didnt have a way you can leave except through a checkout isle that has people standing in line and so I asked the manager how I leave. He asked for my ID and I explained Im not buying anything because I forgot my ID and he rudely said that I have to be 21 to be in the store. I said I am aware but I didnt realize that I had forgotten my ID until I was already in the store. He said well you and your boyfriend are not welcome to purchase anything here in front of a large group of people which was completely embarrassing. I want to say I understand wanting to prevent underage kids from acquiring liquor but to treat your genuine "of age" customers this way is also unacceptable and needs to be fixed. If youre going to make it a requirement for every member of a group to have an ID to be in the store, you need to check IDs at the door! Dont put me in a situation where I am kicked out over it! I will never shop at another Total Wine again and will gladly take my money to elsewhere.

Ryan Woodhall was very helpful when I visited..he selected a lovely mixed case of mostly reds for me. The reason I didnt give this store 5 stars is its location...horrible (for me). Impossible to park, especially during lunch hours. Then no one helped me to my car with my case...ugh. It truly is a lovely store with very knowledgable employees, but its a hike from where I live (near Main Street Bridge) and then the traffic is simply awful. Why wouldnt Total Wine have TWO stores in a city the size of Jacksonville? I ran by today just to pick up a few bottles of Spanish Cava...it was unpleasant getting there and getting back home. Sorry. I realize the location works for lots and lots of people. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is an update to my last review. I fought my way out to Total Wine today since I was running low on wine. For the first time EVER not a single employee asked if I needed help or even approached me. I wasnt the only customer who remarked on this. There were plenty of employees but they were busy doing other things. This was by far my worst experience at this store. With such an unfortunate location, miles from where I live, I likely will come here less and less. I have been a member of the loyalty program for ages....but I grow less impressed with each visit.

Total Wine is an adults Fantasyland. It has a tremendous offering of Liquors wines and beers from everywhere and places you never thought imaginable. My husband and I love to just come in sometimes and pick up R6 of a keg for the Kegerator and some wine usually for me period always a great selection at the best prices around anywhere. The variety of beers and from microbreweries and other lands near and far would tease any doubter to try something new. Im not much of a Beer Drinker but I certainly enjoy gazing and cruising the bottles and labels and end up smiling all the way through. They have wine tastings as well as beer tastings. There are many collector bottles for tequila and other hard Liquors as well as a variety of party lemonades and mixers . There is also a pretty nice selection of snacks and treats including Cheeses and meats available for your party as well as gift baskets glasses etcetera. You can pick up ice there as well. Club membership will deliver coupons and notices to your inbox and when youre shopping and store youll find that their service people are friendly and helpful. This is always our go-to for one bottle or a case. I highly recommend Total Wine & More.

If you want to go to a reputable and repeatble exceptional experience forego ABC Fine Wine and Spirits and instead go the extra distance. I have never been disappointed with Total Wine & More; however, the ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Fernandina Beach, FL has been sorely disappointing. I will never ever return to ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, but I will drive 40 miles to return to Total Wine and Costco. At Total Wines you dont need a Reward Card to return a bad product, unlike ABC Fine Wine and Spirit in Fernandina Beach. One has a much greater selection and knowledgeable staff to assist one in finding the right product--unlike other more expensive, fewer quality products and certainly less satisfying and knowledgeable staff. Go with the best and go the extra distance (in miles) to get professional and competent service and dont waste ones time on "hire off the streets" employees like I experiences at ABC Fine Wine and Spirit in Fernandina Beach, FL, who neither know their products or can exercise common sense judgment. TOTAL Wine & More is a A+ rated store. Thank you

They have signs posted on their entrance no one under 21 years-old allowed without ID, yet children are allowed with their parents, that makes no sense and its a double standard. I was ID-ed even though I bought no liquor and was just accompaning my husband. They card randomly, if youre gonna stick to your rules then card every person that walks in, not just some and others let by. The cashier was completely rude and obnoxious. Never going back. Total Wine lost 4 customers today. Dont go here. Go to Publix Liquors, Anjos, or ABC. Im 31, get over yourselves. Manager was also very unhelpful.

I cant thank total wine town center enough for spoiling their customers with hard to find limited release items you cant find anywhere within a few hrs drive and even more incredibly they offer them at or below recommended retail where other shops sometimes double and triple the price of popular items. This place is so huge and fantastic they can charge an entry fee and Ill pay it

Im a regular customer of theirs. On Friday afternoons we always try to make it there for the wine tasting. This place has a very large inventory--theres maybe half a dozen or so things that Ive looked there and not found, Im sure they have everything else. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and they have a lot of other elegant goodies and accessories.

Great selection of wine, even some great kosher wines. The customer service is not the best, and the tall guy in the wine tasting area could really use a lesson in how to help people, but overall I found what I was looking for. If youre going to go going there knowing the exact name, they dont seem to like to search but youll find what youre looking for here.
