This place has been a hassle every step of the way. My fiance bought a loose stone to go into a setting that we picked out together and had a very specific time frame of when he wanted to propose. Despite going in over a month ahead of time, the store managed to lose the ring requiring a "loaner ring" until they could find where my ring was. The only reason we went back for our wedding bands was the fact that we were happy with the engagement ring itself. I couldnt find anything like what I wanted for a wedding band in the store, so we were able to make a custom piece with stones my grandmother had given me. The store had my stones and the completed product for nearly 6 weeks. When they called to tell us the ring was done, we asked if the appraisal was done so that we could add it onto our insurance. The woman assured us that since it was a custom piece it would definitely have an appraisal already. When we went in on a Saturday to pick it up, there was no appraisal. Had we known, we wouldnt have gone in to get the rings. The salesperson who rang us out, who was not our usual salesperson, said she would have our guy send out the appraisal on Tuesday. By the end of the week, the salesman called to have us bring in the ring again on Sunday so he could finish up the appraisal. When we got in, 15 minutes after the store opened, two women told us that the salesman was "too busy" and would do our appraisal later. After waiting for 45 minutes and watching our salesman take customers who had come in after us, we finally left. Basically the message that was sent was that since we werent spending money that day, we werent worth their time despite having already spent thousands of dollars on our rings. We will never be shopping at Barmakian again as the product is not worth the incompetency of their sales staff.

Terrible experience! The issues: 1. Rude, passive aggressive, and unprofessional sales person in the engagement/wedding ring department. -Their customer service made what could have been a mildly inconvenient and disappointing shopping experience a terrible one. When mentioning that I was disappointed with the quality of their workmanship (issue described below and picture included), our salesperson, Lois, responded sarcastically, "but did we fix it?". This comment was representative of nearly every verbal interaction we had with her. This was worst customer service Ive personally experienced in any store. 2. Poor quality check on their engagement and wedding rings. SEE PICTURE BELOW - Bottom right below center diamond. -One would expect spending close to $1500 on an engagement ring setting (center diamond not included) that the workmanship would be flawless. Unfortunately this wasnt the case. Soldering was left on the wedding band to the bottom right of the center diamond. I realized this when I got home and had to drive back so that the jeweler could remove the excess and rough metal on the ring. Having not learned my lesson yet with Barmakian, I then made the mistake also buying our wedding bands there because they had matching bands. My fiancés brand new wedding band came back to us with small scratches on it.

Using the diamond from my original solitare ring, fabulous salesperson, Aunilee helped me create a one of a kind three stone ring of my dreams. She worked tirelessly on this project choosing the perfect additional diamonds, staying in touch with me (even while she was on vacation) and ultimately delivering the perfect ring UNDER budget! This is a salesperson who truly cares about her work and even more about her customers. I traveled from out of state to do business here and am delighted that I did. I couldnt be happier and can not recommend this jewelry store highly enough!!

Bought a very expensive watch here....A few months later, the interior was fogging. I took the watch back to the store to inquire about repairs. The first lady I encountered came across as very "expert" on all matters of which she knows nothing about, saying "oh....this watch is not water resistant. It cant be near water," etc., etc., A completely false statement. This lady had to be corrected by a fellow employee, it was embarassing but I dropped the watch off nonetheless to be sent for "testing" and "subsequent repairs." Its been there for 6 months and I still havent heard the prognosis.

Bought an engagement ring here late last year and the service was fantastic. I was recommended by a friend and this place does not disappoint. They saved me thousands of dollars when compared to some shops local to me in Vermont and I got a far superior product. They even had an incredible turn-around time and shipped it to me overnight no less, which was extremely impressive. Even now when I have questions I can text or call my salesperson and they are back to me in no time. Do yourself a favor and shop here for your next jewelry needs. They have got a customer for life from me.

Ok, where do I start. Made an appointment at 7PM. The guy on the phone asked me to look for Joe. Went there, people at 1st floor told me Joe is upstairs. Went upstairs found out Joe is not in. The guy in the diamond area apparently didnt want to speak or even look at me when I asked to see some Tacori pendant. The girl told me they dont have any in store. Initially I wanted to custom make a diamond pendant with Tacori mounting. But after the most horrible experience in Fine Jewelry shopping I didnt want to spend a dime here.

I put my deposit down on a $4,000 ring. I told the sales woman repeatedly, "PLEASE DO NO SEND THE RECEIPT TO MY ADDRESS." I gave her my sisters address. Guess where the receipt was sent... Guess who saw the envelope... Needless to say someone got a necklace instead. I had to cover with something. Oh yeah, and guess who got a "great" deal on a necklace. This place is where my grandfather and father went for their engagement rings. Too bad i couldnt follow.

Shopping with Barmakian Jewelers has been a great experience for me. I have only purchased online before, but their website is intuitive and easy to use. I ordered an item one day, and it was shipped to me for delivery the next with no additional costs. While FedEx screwed up delivering the order upwards of 3 times, when I reached out to Barmakian to have this shipment held, they were able to accommodate my request with haste. Keep up the good work!

My husband picked out the absolute PERFECT engagement ring for me! Of course I had a picture to go off of, but someone at Barmakian helped him create a nearly perfect replica with a special setting. I also found my wedding band there which fits perfectly with my engagement ring. My only complaint is that I have lost one diamond in my wedding band (an eternity band) and they were good and replaced it for no cost.
