I was trying to buy a chain there and they were selling a 14k gold chain that weigh 17.0 pennyweigh for 725$. The chain for just the gold is like 560$ of gold. I offered him 650$ and he acted all shady and said yeah and when we got up to the register he tried to sell it to me again for 700$ and then the fat guy interrupts us and told him to put it back. They give you literally the worst prices around theyll tell you they give top dollar for your stuff until you waist your time going there. They take advantage of drug addicts and people who are sick like that and get almost everything there for nothing and turn around and dont leave any room for negotiation. Feel free to go here if you want to give your stuff away for free but there are better places to go that arnt crooks and scumbags. There customer service is horrible btw. That fat dude who looks like a child rapist needs to get tuned up. Avoid.avoid.avoid.avoid.avoid

Lowell jewelry and pawn a great place to get amazing deals on jewelry,televisions,electronics,coins, fine art & all kinds of unique items. It has a very friendly staff and the owner (Chris) is very involved and always available . I visit at least twice a week and always leave with something unique ,always new items to check out . Their lending and pawn is bar none the fairest and highest paying around and they understand how uncomfortable it can be to have to pawn or sell and treat EVERY client with the highest respect! I cant say enough about the place , its just an amazing experience every time ,there are things in there you just cant find anywhere else and LOTS of one of a kind items ....... Lowell jewelry and pawn is Lowells own "HARDCORE PAWN" and "PAWN STARS" all rolled up in one !!! Thank you chris and the rest of the gang for all you do .... MIKE DOHERTY

Shady business. Ive had my own experience where I was blamed for an item I sold in good shape, bought by another person who brought it back and said it was broken. Even though we went through it together and they saw for themselves it worked just fine, so they bought it. But I still got blamed. Also I personally know people who bring stolen goods ands gift cards here and the owner lets them slide through. Happened so often, they stopped buying gift cards.This is where all the drug addicts bring there goods. You want class, go across the street. By law you have 4 months to collect your goods on a loan btw. Dont let these guys tell you different.

They take advantage of thing being brought to them. I went 2 time to this place to bring games and in the first time they told me 5 dollars per game because they sold it for 10 and I come today with the same game and 2 series of the boondock the were ganna give me 5 dollar for the whole thing. I was like what happened this time he said we buy games for 3 dollar. Such bad service especially when u get cought in a lie. If I cought put a negative review I would give it a 4 because everything is used but somehow they sellin it for the same price as new just the only good thing to buy are movies nd some games.

Ignorant to the facts especially the young men that work there this kid offered me 3 dollars for a one karet diamond and gold ring sold it some where else for waaaaaay more I even had the certificate and receipt from Kay jewelers smh no respect they just go by on how u look I call that profiling but w e I got a better deal else where was no profiling at the other place maybe u should have ur young kids stick to what they know obviously its not jewellery cant wait til they have there going out of business sale keep it up and thats where ur Establishment is headed

Very Rude. I was surprised to see what appeared to be homeless individuals selling gift cads to this place. In return for cash. Yet I walk in with an Antique Rolex. And his first words. "it feels lite" In my head I was saying "what is lite are all those gift cards you take". I felt insulted. Any repairs that were done were by reputable jewelers in Boston. Its a shame how ppl will sacrifice respect for the all mighty dollar. And the funny thing is I was going to buy his verzon iphone in the case. YEA RIGHT. Not after that. But I wish them well...

Hello, I have been shopping at Lowell Jewelry & Loan for about three years now. I love shopping there because of the friendliness of the staff and there eagerness to please you in every possible way. I have bought things like jewelry, cameras, watches, DVDs and so much more. They have a great collection of items to please all. The quality of the items are outstanding. Give it a try for yourself. This place is so disorganised and the workers are so ignorant and have no customer service skills when u go to pawn or buy here it feels like iam going to cop drugs from a corner boy smh every time i go in there its the same thing i strongly suggest stay sway from this place their selection is limited on all things it looks like a garage sale more than a pawn shop they need to do something about the management iam at a loss on how these ppl stay in business

I have been going to this place since Chris took it over on east Merrimack st the place downtown is amazing the staff is nice and I like the fact that at times I need a loan and they are there to help out always more than fair plus there are many items for sale we all get stuck once in awhile and Im glad that this place has been there for me when needed it is worth a visit if you have not been there

Lowell Jewelry and Loan is not what they claim it to be. I brought a beautiful Dean guitar in to get a small loan on it for a few days, and their offer was absurd. It was especially annoying to have an inexperienced individual evaluate the instruments value. I personally would not recommend this option because I believe theyll take advantage whenever possible.

Well the 20 year old kid with the long hair seems to think hes a real jewelry expert i brought in a real diamond ring worth about 3 4 hundred which was bought at kay jewellers this young man tried to tell me it was fake however he would buy it for 20 bucks gtfoh that place is a scam however almost directly across the street theres a trusted establishment

Sometimes they can be a little rude, other times it think it just because they deal with BS all day from people who THINK their stuff is worth a lot more than it really is. I get great deals there I have bought multiple TVs a laptop & at least 100 used DVDs this place is pretty chill .

Beautiful store and very friendly staff! I have purchased jewelry and done business directly with the owner and you cant find many people as honest and good spirited as he is. Great shop and business! ...also very family friendly atmosphere.
