The owner, Ilah Cibis, was a true artist and a delight to work with. Her professionalism throughout the process of the custom-design of a pendant was impecable. Her love of what she does really shines through in her work, and her communication with the customer. My husband and I had a recent tragedy this past year- our home burnt to the ground just DAYS before our wedding date! We were in panic mode- everything we had for our wedding was inside our home. Including our wedding bands which is where Ilah enters the picture. She was kind enough to offer replacement bands for us both to have which she would rush to be ready for the big day (again just 5 days away!) Anyhow, we were able to get into the house to gather what we could and in the few moments inside we DID in fact grab the bands. When we informed her that we no longer were going to need her generous offering, she turned around and offered us something else. A custom made pendant once we returned to "normal" after the fire and the wedding and vacation...and something we could have her design which reflected all that occured this past year. I also lost my mother, who was my best friend, just months after I was married. Ilah and I decided that inserting a beautiful diamond stone in the center will now resemble my mothers angelic spirit, and her watching over me. This custom made, one-of-a-kind piece, will forever be held close to my heart. The owner, Ilahs kindness and compassionate spirit and desire to "pay it forward" to a total stranger such as myself is something that hold no words. She is a beautiful person both inside and out...and her work is OUTSTANDING! Go check out her shoppe in Sudbury, MA. She will consult with you to ensure everything is perfect and exactly as you want before moving forward with any design alterations....She truly makes you feel like you are the only customer and for being as successful as she is- we certainly know she only makes us feel that way because she cares. Had a day off after the march snow storm we had. Trying to catch up on a few errands and get a Cross put back on a necklace I had. I foolishly stopped into the jewelry extchange because it is a rather in expensive cross and chain. Believe it or not they would not work on it apparently they only work on crappy gold stuff. I had seem P M going by many times but not being a guy that buys stuff like this never had the need to stop in. I stopped in today to see if they would fix my cross. The lady at the store was so nice. She fixed it about 15 minutes before closing time and to top it all off wouldnt even charge me for the repair. It inspired me to think up something to have here make ( Working on that just got out of the place) anyway highly recommended there are many great reviews but I wanted to add my experience. By the way I never even mentioned my problem with the other place to her but from the feeling I got it wouldnt have mattered. This is the type of place you dont find anymore. Not sure but she is probably the owner and the make custom pieces there. Im sure you would never get a corporate experience there its a small town feel and worth checking out.

Bad experience. Last week I called precious metals to inquire about selling my wedding band. The woman I spoke with was very helpful and informative as I have never sold jewelry before. She explained how its priced etc... Today I stopped by and from the start I noticed this woman was a bit timid. She examined the band and gave me a price of $251.00. Ok sounds great I thought to myself. She then asked me for my license? Not ever having sold jewelry before I was a bit miffed... seemed weird to me. She then explained that they report every purchase to the police... again I have never sold jewelry before so I DON"T KNOW THE PROCESS. So I then asked her if I she pays cash or a check and she responded checks only which is fine. She then threw her hands up in the air and said "Just the fact that were having this conversation Im going to decline the sale" Huh? Then it dawned on me... she thinks Im a thief. Thanks lady! You have a nice day as well!

I had a diamond in a setting I never wore. With my 5-year wedding anniversary approaching, my husband and I decided I would get it set into a ring as my gift. I wanted something that looked both vintage and modern at the same time. Ilah helped me get exactly what I envisioned! She ordered me a setting from her catalogue, but then customized the piece by giving the yellow gold a gorgeous matte finish. The end product is truly extraordinary! Ilah could not be nicer or more accommodating. Plus, her pricing is incredibly fair. She gave me a great price on some old gold that I had -- I applied it to the price of the new piece and it really took a significant chunk off the total. A+ all around!

We worked with Ilah to create a custom engagement ring. We brought in a few pictures of styles we liked and explained our vision. Ilah was very attentive and provided sketches as we were talking. She took her time with us, we did not feel rushed. She clearly explained the process and the pros and cons of choosing how the ring would be made. After our discussion, she sent EXACT computer generated images of what we had requested so we could envision what we would get. Honestly, I busted into tears of joy when I saw the finished product. My wife and I just had a custom anniversary ring designed and made by Ilah. We wanted the ring to fit with my wifes existing engagement/wedding set. Ilah was fantastic to work with - she listened to our ideas and requirements for the ring and added her own creativity and ideas. The result is everything we were looking for and more! Ilah was patient and receptive to several rounds of refinement on the design. Ilah also has a great selection of unique and striking ready-made jewelry in her store. I am definitely going to be making Precious Metals my first stop when shopping for jewelry in the future.

I have a palladium wedding band and engagement ring with moissanite stones. Not many jewelers want to work with this material. I lost a stone in my engagement ring and took it to Precious Metals for repair. They gave me an extremely good price to repair and polish both of my rings. The staff is wonderful. My rings were returned to me in like new condition. I am just so happy with the work done and the price I paid. I will go here for all of my future jewelry needs. 10/10 recommend.
