I used Chapel Hill for my wedding in June 2015. My order included flowers for my ceremony and reception. In general, I feel their service on my wedding day was lacking and the quality of flowers in my bouquets was very poor. I would not recommend this florist for wedding flowers based on my experience with them. They were very nice during my consultation and during the ordering process, but failed to deliver on what was promised. Below is my experience with Chapel Hill Florists and the resulting customer service experience I had with the stores owners. To start, the flowers were dropped off at the hotel the morning of the wedding. None of the boxes were labeled, which left hotel staff confused about where different boxes went. The box with bouquets was delivered to the brides room with no one knowing the groomsmen boutonnieres were in a part of the box beneath the bouquets. These were not found until after the wedding. Corsages for mothers and grandmothers were ordered and paid for, but were never delivered. It was discussed with the florist prior to my event that bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages would be going to three different rooms upon delivery and they said it would not be a problem. The quality of my bouquet was extremely poor and disappointing. My bouquet had white roses that were already browned before we left the hotel for the church and flowers were not secure in the bouquet. I had to be very careful holding my bouquet so that flowers did not fall out, which made many posed pictures difficult. Additionally, I requested my bouquet primarily consist of Peonies. I paid extra for the amount of Peonies I requested in my bouquet. I was told this would not be a problem as they are in season. In total, there were only three Peonies included in my bouquet and both looked wilted by the time my ceremony was finished. I was not able to preserve my bouquet as planned because of the condition of the bouquet and poor quality of the flowers. The bridesmaids bouquets were also unsatisfactory and poorly constructed. The bouquets began falling apart as soon as the girls took them out of the box. By the time the ceremony was over, girls were missing large chunks of their bouquets. You could see the fallen flowers in multiple pictures from that day. The flowers in these were also low quality and browned during the day. None of my girls were able to take their bouquets home. I called and emailed Chapel Hill Florists after my wedding to discuss my disappointment with the quality of my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, and the missing corsages. I provided pictures of the quality issues I detailed above. One of the owners, Paula, told me she would discuss these issues with her sister Pat and would be in contact with me. A week later, I called back to follow up as I hadnt heard from anyone. I was told Pat was out of the office and would get back to me. I received no call and called back to request a refund for the brides bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, and corsages. Again, I was told Pat would have to make that decision and I would need to talk to her. To date, it has been over a month since my initial complaint and I have not received any direct follow up from Chapel Hill.

I attempted to buy flowers for my wife the week of Valentines Day from Chapel Hill Florists but found myself flowerless instead. After sitting through the horrible Grandview traffic to make it to the shop before closing time I was surprised to find that they had closed earlier than their stated time ! Ive bought from them in the past and had pleasant experiences but after this failed attempt I think Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

I have visited this place to buy flowers for my wife a handful of times over the past 5 years. I have always been treated well there and I keep going back because the ladies in the shop are very friendly and consistently put together a beautiful bouquet. The flowers i have had in the past have always lasted at least a week.

Chapel Hill is awesome. They have a great collection of fairly unique roses and other flowers, as well as all manner of decorations. My wife loves the speckled red roses they have, and theyre always friendly and helpful. And now, theyre right next door to a chocolate place, which means one-stop shopping!

Wonderful service! Flowers ordered and delivered to a client within 3 hours of placing the call. The arrangement was beautiful and better than we could have asked for on such short notice! Would recommend to anyone!

Asked for a bouquet of flowers and the flowers were half dead and dreary. Sadly I would recommend going to Kroger up the road before I would support this business.

Chapel Hill created exquisite arrangements for a dinner party, and the candles and silver were exactly the way we hoped they would be for the elegant event!

Order process was short and efficient however the price of the flowers was outrageous. Nearly $60 for a dozen red roses. Would not recommend.
